This is actually true with today. I don't even talk about mlp with my friends or some of my family members. The only family members I talk about mlp with is my cousins which you all know who that is. I remember the day that I was introduced to the show and I thought it was the best thing in the world. I told my best friend about it and I got them into it for a short while until they stopped being interested which I understand. I've been some what ashamed sometimes because of watching mlp since the age range is towards younger kids. As I got older, I still remember I had mlp toys in my room and I was going into 6th grade where a lot of people I knew who were friends with me changed. For the most part I didn't change and I still loved mlp. A lot of my friends loved the drawings I did but others just thought it was weird for someone my age to draw stuff from a kid show. I still get scared to ever draw mlp stuff in high school. So, I always try to hide it as much as I can so no one has to see it ever. The only drawings I would show would be animal drawings like cats and dogs. My best friend doesn't mind that I still watch it and I'm happy that they're there to support me no matter what. But, I still feel very ashamed that I watch a kids show directed for kids younger than me. Only this is what I love to do and to be honest, this show has helped me a lot mentally through the years I experienced watching the show. I didn't know where I was gonna go when I got to middle school until I saw the show when I was in my last year in elementary. Even though I still feel some what ashamed that I like the show, I'm going to say that this show means a lot to me and I love how it has helped me through the years. I wouldn't stop enjoying the show and the fandom that comes along with it!
Heh, I put a lot of feeling into this haven't I. Well I just love the show and how the fandom is so welcoming and kind. I'm glad I'm a brony or should I say pegasister for the girls who watch mlp. But that is all I have to show you today or talk about today. So remember, even if your ashamed about watching a show that is directed at a younger audience like mlp, just look at the positives on what it has done for you and the fandom it has created. Well, I'll see you all next time. BYE!!!!
