"Are you ready?" Dr. Sanchez asked as he pulled his chair up to me. Breathing heavily I nodded holding Austin's hand like a scared mother I was. I'm terrified...I'm six months pregnant and I haven't felt my baby kick or even move. I'm so scared that I lost her, I don't know what I would do if I did...I'd probably go into a deep depression and stay that way for ages.
"Let's have a look shall we" The doctor said as she squirted the cold gel onto my belly then spreading it out with the wand thing. Everything was completely silent for what felt like forever, my breathing increasing which you could hear it on the heart monitor. "Well your baby is completely fine and healthy" Dr. Sanchez said smiling and putting away the wand thing. I let out a breath that I guess I was holding, I looked over at Austin and he smiled then leaned down and kissed my forehead, as we were leaving we walked into the lobby where women with large bellies sat and screaming children who were running all over the place, kind of made me think. "Come on babe" Austin said wrapping his arm around my waist.
Did he just call me babe? That is so weird...I mean I love the sound of it but it's a little weird. Since a few weeks ago when Austin told me that he broke up with Hannah he has been at my side nonstop, I can tell that he wants to be a good dad for our baby and I believe he will be. Right now we are going home because my feet are killing me and I need food, earlier I was yelling at Austin because of ice cream...I'm seriously losing myself.
"Home!" I shouted as he pulled up into my driveway. I heard him chuckle as I slid my fat self out of the passenger seat, I rolled my eyes and kept my mouth shut. I walked inside and felt the cool air as it hit my face, mom and dad aren't home...haven't been since last Sunday, they went on a road trip. Austin and I have the entire house to ourselves for two more weeks, I laid my jacket down on the sofa and immediately started making my way upstairs to take a shower. "Just lounge around for a while kay" I said smirking.
I turned the hot water on and started slipping my clothes off when my phone went off, I picked my phone up from the counter and saw that I had a message from Mina.
Mina: I'm sorry for the way I acted a few weeks ago, I'm really happy that you're happy.
Me: Thanks, I guess it's alright happy.
.I laid my phone back down on the counter and stepped into the steaming shower taking my time, I turned the water off and wrapped a towel around my body heading into my room when I heard Dutch barking. I giggled and shut my door quieting her down a bit. "What are you barking for?" I asked smiling. I gently pet her head and pulled out some sweat pants and a long sleeve stripped shirt, I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and picked Dutch up then walked back downstairs seeing that Austin was watching Spongebob. "You're such a child" I said laughing. "Hey don't hate spongebob" He replied giggling. I smiled and sat next to him on the couch cuddling up to his chest and watching Spongebob the rest of the day. As the darkness filled the house I felt Austin slide his hands onto my belly and gently rub, I smiled at this.
"You're so sweet" I said looking up at him. "I'll do anything for you and our little girl" He replied smirking. I blushed and hid my face in his chest, I laid there for a few minutes when I felt myself trying to let sleep overcome me. "I'm going to bed, you can come up when you're finished watching whatever you're watching" I said planting a small kiss on his forehead. I made my way out of the living room and up the stairs when I felt someone grab my arm, they turned me to them and they smashed their lips on mine.
I knew exactly who was kissing me, his soft lips molding themselves to mine perfectly. "I love you Fantasy" Austin said resting his forehead against mine. I smiled and intertwined our fingers. "I love you too Austin" I replied wrapping my arms around his waist. I can't believe he said he loved me, it was absolutely perfect in a way...but I do love him too, that's a fact.
