Chapter 10: History(there won't be any part to the story added, this is just background information on the characters).
Anna's Past:
Anna died because her mom and dad worked together to kill her, in order to repay the debt they owed Edward. So she ended up going to the fortress to work as a spy for Aly, because Edward was getting suspicious of Aly and Toby. Anna tried to stop Aly and Toby from being together because she didn't want them to get caught. She also liked Toby too, so it was a win win situation. Anna had been rude to Aly because she had liked Toby, but when she found someone new she was happy that her now what she calls her best friend a boyfriend. Anna and Aly are best friends, despite their polar opposite personalities, and Anna's secret powers she finds out about when she picks up Toby and he heals. That is Anna's past, for now.
Aly's Past:
You already saw Aly's tragic death, and why it happened. Aly was only 25 when she died, but then she lives a new life in Edwards old castle like home. Aly took over and is a leader of the people, Anna helps her because there are trillions of other people that died. Whatever age you die at you stay that way for eternity. Aly doesn't believe they are souls, she thinks they are creatures of death, because if you were a soul, you wouldn't bleed, or be able to die and never return. Aly had adopted both of her children, and will never see them again due to them dying twice. Aly is dating Toby now, and has been for over a month. She has known him for a month despite him knowing her for years. That is Aly's past up until now.
Toby's Past:
He died when he was 23, because of a terrible car accident. He has been working for Edward for 10 years, and not by choice. If you don't remember Edward forced Toby to work for him, in return for saving his life. Toby had to murder others in order to save his own life, he doesn't like to have to kill people, but sometimes it has to be done. Edward made Toby go to watch over Aly every day, because there were people worse than him after her for various reasons. Toby fell in love with Aly long before she knew, he kept following Edwards orders until he saw how bad he was hurting Aly. Its hurts to see people you love in pain, and know you can change that, so one day he tried to but almost died in the process. Just when he had thought he had lost Aly forever, he got her back, for good this time. He doesn't know what the future holds for them, but he doesn't care as long as Aly is happy.
Edwards Past:
He started ruling his kingdom for the dead when he was 18, he died of a heart attack, which lead him to the darkness. Before he was there, you died on the second day of being dead, but he twisted fate and hid. He eventually grew an empire of people who would pursue his every need, even bad ones. He found a way to switch between being human and being dead, and that's when he met Aly. Aly was beautiful to him, and she was the queen he needed back at his kingdom of the dead, but it took him longer than he thought. They ended up adopting two kids, and a cat. Edward didn't want Aly to get any older so he killed her at the age 25, on her birthday. He thought she would be willing to help him build his empire, but she refused. So he used violence to get her on his side, which didn't work either. He also didn't expect that his best man Toby, tried to steal Aly away from him, but Aly didn't want Edward she wanted Toby. But Edward wouldn't except that so he tried to kill Toby and wipe Alys memory. He told Anna to get Toby's body out of the office, thinking Toby was dead. Anna actually used her magic and healed Toby, which Edward never found out about. He thought Alys memory was wiped so he accepted a hug from her, she stabbed him to death, and that was the last of him...or was it.
Masky/Tim's Past:
Masky was a hot head before he met Toby and died, they were partners in crime. Masky used to kill for a faceless man by the name of Slenderman. Toby didn't work for anyone however he killed bad people in the world. Toby and Masky were roommates and best friends at the time. Masky died while out killing without Toby as he was dead(Notice that Without is bold which means he was alone.)(As he was dead means Toby was dead if you got confused on who was dead.) He died only about a week ago when he met Anna, they started dating a day after that. They
met a year before and were friends since then, Anna moved away and they thought they would never see eachother again.
