Hair, checked. Make up, checked. Christian Louboutin nude pumps, checked. Amazing, checked. Great, Radha has ten minutes to spare before her date arrives. Wait no; he isn't exactly her date, just a friend? Wait friends don't do fancy dinners, do they? Oh well, let's just call him Jay. Anyways, where was I? Right, Radha had ten minutes before Jay arrives and something just isn't right. She usually never gets ready on time. In fact, ten minutes before he arrives, she is usually running around the house like a chicken without head trying to finish up final touches. Maybe today, she is just efficient? Yeah, something like that, perhaps.

“Today is definitely my day! This is my turn to rub it in his face when he comes even a minute late” Radha happily skipped to her kitchen counter top to grab few sweets from the sweet jar. She is getting herself recharged properly, almost. Sugar and Radha  mixed together is a colorful rainbow explosions. Well, to her it is but to others she is one helluva excited girl and annoying too. Almost like the scene from Tangled, where Flynn Ryder brings Rapunzel out and she goes nuts? Remember? Radha  is pretty much like that too when she eats sweets or anything that contains sugar. So, why is she consuming a crazy amount of sweet now? Simple, Jay deserved to be tortured or so she thinks.

Jay and Radha, they aren't your typical friends or couples. They are just weird? Friends with limits beyond just friendship boundary. No, they aren't friends with benefits. They have never slept together in a sexual manner. Only sleepover and cuddles whenever the stay over at each other's house. They are constantly bickering like old married couple and fight way too often that it makes Tom and Jerry looks like best buddies on earth!

At 6.58 pm, yes, precisely two minutes before 7, Radha walked to the front door of her apartment and waited outside the door. She can't wait to yell, “Sucker, who is late this time!” Sometimes, nobody believes that she is 25. She barely behaves even close to a teenager never mind an adult. Five minutes after 7 (yes, she was timing), the elevator door at the end of the hallway opened and Radha jumped to the middle and whisper yell, “Sucker, I am early this time, and you are late by five minute! Not very gentleman after all, are we?” the smirk on Radha 's face was very much exaggerating but can you blame her? Jay wasn't exactly nice either, most of the time. They both basically live to torture each other.

“Hello, dear. Now, I can cancel the reservation at Troika Sky Dining and we could grab the simple Chinese food across the street” Jay spoke as his signature smirk grows wide. Radha thought if he is going to blackmail her and refuse defeat, she is not going down without a fight. Not after she spent 2 hours getting ready for this. Hmm.. friendly date at fancy restaurant. Not after going through the agonizing process of waxing and twee-zing and plucking. Those process hurt so much that even death sentencing seemed more serene and calm.

“Wait a minute, you are not entering my house without accepting your defeat” Radha  had her arm stretched across the door preventing Jay from entering in. She is definitely a cat who thinks she is a lion. She is very tiny and petite next to his build tall body, He could easily carry and toss her to the side. But again, looks can be deceiving. Jay knows better than to mess with an angry looking Radha . The last time he made her angry, she 'accidentally' spilled black coffee on his white crisp Armani shirt and then when she tried to 'help', she tore the buttons from the shirt brutally leaving torn trails of thread. It couldn't be saved. That day, a wise man learned to never make a petite woman mad/angry just because she looks calm and cute.

“What defeat? I am late by couple of minutes, Radha . That is all. So if you don't want me to enter, we can leave right now. We could walk to the Chinese restaurant across” the ever indestructible Jay stood all high and proud in front of her without any sign of defeat.
