I was just finishing up writing in my diary for the day when I heard my phone ringing. "Ugh" now I'd have to reach across the bed to reach my phone! I stretched my hand out and made a noise of exasperation. I grabbed my phone and looked at who was calling. Oh! It was Cole. I remembered that I promised to call him after the movie. Cole has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. We went and still go to the same school and our parents also have a good history!
I picked the call up realising that it had been ringing for a few minutes already. "Hey!" I said. "Couldn't reach your phone, could you?" He said, I could hear the smile in his voice. I giggled over the phone, if there was anyone who knew me better than Cole, I wouldn't know. "So! Have any plans for the weekend Lizzy??" He asked ( my real name is Elizabeth but only my close friends and family call me Lizzy), I thought for a while "nah, my parents are going to Grandma's so we can meet up anytime". " Cool" he said " Jenna's place tomorrow at 6?","That's a plan!" I said "see ya" he said cutting the call.
In case you're wondering, Jenna is Cole's girlfriend and most people think I'm jealous but I'm not, okay! Maybe a little but it wasn't enough to make me ask him out or anything. Me and Jenna are actually pretty cool with eachother. Every one who doesn't know me or Cole well thinks that either one of us likes the other, well I used too and that did NOT turn out well let me tell you!!
