There had been a hurricane. Not a real one, but it sure felt like it. I could hardly grasp all that had happened in the last, short 24 hours. Everything happened so sudden and destructively that I couldn't think straight of the danger zone my mind was left in. Trying to find one intact thing about my old life was like finding the right movie on Netflix (which is way harder than finding a needle in a haystack). The only remnants were things like my name or who my family was.

I felt like my head was about to explode, but a voice that probably meant that I was going insane, told me that I had to get up. I opened my eyes, expecting to be blinded by sunlight, only to get a minimum speck of light coming from a dim bulb hanging by a few wires in the ceiling. My surroundings weren't any uplifting either, the walls were grey brick, and I could see a camera in the top corner of the room. The only way to leave was a door with no handle which was locked from the outside. I was all alone in the room, which I guessed is kind of nice, since I didn't want to talk to anyone anyways.

My "bed," if I can call it that, was a small table attached to the wall. As I tried to get up, something stopped me and as I looked down, I noticed cuffs on my hands that would only allow me to sit on the bed. Good, I would cuff myself too if I were them. They didn't know the truth, just a half baked lie to save my family. Oh no... What could they possibly be thinking right now? They don't- they couldn't know about what I was doing for them. They probably thought that I was the devil's child after what they had been told. But it doesn't matter now, since I will probably never leave this room. As I get myself situated in a way that I can sit up with the restraints on, I hear a faint knock coming from the door. The door opened and a guard came in.

"There's someone who wants to see you."

"Who on Earth would want to see me?"

"She claims she's your sister."
