I wake up the next morning SUPER nervous for today. I don't know who's upset with me, but I can almost guarantee it's Alya. Apparently she thinks I stole her boyfriend, even though I've liked him longer, I didn't reject him-twice- and then break up with him when he needed me most, and call him worthless. So I think at this point she doesn't deserve any boyfriend, let alone Adrien.
Anyways, I put on my Nike athletic shorts, and a coral-colored t-shirt with my blue/brown flip-flops, and head to school. On the way, I stop and get a Venti Pink Drink from Starbucks, and blast my rap music out the windows of my car. When I get to school, I walk in and sit with Tessa and Amanda. Amanda said that she already told Tessa who was mad at me and why, but I still don't know, so I ask her to explain it to me.
"Well, I didn't tell you last night, because you seemed so happy, and I didn't want to ruin it. But it's Alya. And I think she actually wants war. She told Mr. Freeland that you cheated on your science test, and he believed her. He said he wanted to see you in room 5 as soon as you got here so..."
"Ugh. Why does she have to be such a pain in the neck?" They shrug, and I grab my things and go to room 5 to meet with Mr. Freeland. I knock on the door. "Mr. Freeland?"
"Gabi. Come sit." I do. "I have been informed by a fellow student of yours that you were cheating on our last test. This has serious consequences. is this true? Did you cheat?" He asks.
"No, I did not. I swear on my life, and everything I have I did not cheat."
"Then why did Alya say you did?"
"Because she hates me. She hated me before, but now she hates me even more." I reply.
"Why's that?" He asks.
I then tell him everything. The whole story of me, Adrien, and Alya, and our stupid little 'love triangle', which isn't even a triangle. It's a line. Because Alya's not in it anymore. Anyways, he says he understands, and he'll talk to Alya. I thank him, and exit the classroom. AND ONCE AGAIN, WHO DO I FIND? Alya. She probably thinks I just got in trouble, but I didn't. So I give her a smug look, and brush past her. Before I get to far away, I turn back around and smirk. "Oh and Alya, Mr. Freeland wants to see you." I smile deviously and walk away. Lingering long enough to see her whine and stomp her foot.
"You might think you've won, but you haven't. This war is just getting started."
"Oh, I didn't know you could even fight Alya. you know, with that frail body of yours'."
She looks at me as if she wants to kill me, then backs up towards the door. I wave smugly, and walk to class.

After lunch, we have a challenge. At our school, we have 4 teams. The Ravens, the Eagles, the Meerkats, and the Beavers. And every month we compete in challenges, and whoever wins at the end of the year, gets a free trip to Busch Gardens. It's kind of rigged though. The strong and smart people go either to the Ravens, or the Eagles. And the people who aren't smart, or strong, go to the other 2 teams. Alya's an Eagle, and I'm a Raven. So is Adrien. The Raven's have won for the past 5 years, so we're sort of hated by everyone when it comes to these challenges. Everyone always tries to rally against us, but it never works. We always end up winning. But this year, we can bring a plus one from a different team. So maybe I can bring Amanda since she's an Eagle. Tessa and Callie are Eagles, even though they literally never participate in any of the challenges, or go to any of the meetings. Anyways, for the last half of the day today, we'll be competing in dodgeball and tug-of-war. No matter what challenges we win or lose, the Ravens ALWAYS win tug-of-war. We have never lost a round of tug-of-war ever. And we don't plan to start.
We all get ready for the challenge, and Maya, a girl on our team, comes over with red face paint for all of us. The colors for the teams are red for the Ravens, yellow for the Eagles, orange for the Meerkats, and blue for the Beavers. The Ravens and the Eagles are the only teams that actually try to win. The others just gave up. So it's basically the Ravens verses the Eagles every year. Anyways, we're about to line up to play dodgeball against the Eagles-with our face paint of course-when Adrien wheels up to me.
"Hey." He looks so sad that he can't play today. This is his favorite. I can see him holding back tears. "Um, so I heard what happened with Alya today. I guess you really showed her." He tries to laugh, but I can see the sadness in his eyes.
"Yeah I guess I did." I lightly chuckle. "Hey, when you get better, we can play dodgeball all day. Okay?" A tear streams down his face, and he nods.
"Okay." I hug him and turn to step onto the line. "Gabi, beat them for me. Please."
"I will."
The principal counts down to when we're supposed to start. "3...2...1... GO!"
I sprint to the middle of the gym floor and pick up a big red ball. I step back and wait for everyone to calm down, and I chuck it at David-a kid on the other team. After a while, it's just me and Alya. I look at Adrien, smile and nod, and hurl it at her face. She screams and topples over while everyone stares at her, laughing.
"OUT!" The principal screams.
She comes back up with a huge welt on her forehead. She shrieks and stomps her foot. "You are so dead, Walters!" She storms off, and instantly everybody claps. I bow sarcastically and happily walk over to Adrien.
"Well I feel accomplished." I laugh.
"Yeah so do I, and I didn't even throw the ball." Adrien chuckles.
"Yeah well, she kinda wants to kill me now so... that sucks."
"Well. I think I have a plan for that."
