Katelyn & CJ

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Katelyn, but everyone called her Katie. She had beautiful red hair, and a great friend group. One day, in her 4th period class, she found herself continuously looking at this boy, CJ. Soon, her looking turned into staring, staring turned into day dreaming and so on. She had always had feelings for CJ, but she couldn't admit it. He looked up at Katie and their eyes met, Katie blushed and hid her face in the book she was reading.

The bell rang for lunch, everyone rushed to lunch, except for Katie and CJ. They walked to lunch together, they flirted all the way to lunch and in the lunch line! They playfully hit each other and made jokes. When lunch was over, Katie and CJ walked back to class together. They did this everyday for about 3 months.

One day while Katie and CJ were walking to class, CJ did something so unexpected, something Katie wished he would do since the day they met. CJ kissed Katie, and Katie kissed back. Katie's friends caught them kissing and said "oohhhhh." Katie was so embarrassed that she screamed "Ew! GET OFF ME!" and ran to her friends.

"I can't believe he kissed me, ew, he can't even kiss and his breath smelled like tuna!" Katie would say, but it was a lie. She didn't just like the kiss, no she loved the kiss, his breath smelled and tasted like spearmint gum. The next day at school, Cj and Katie didn't talk, Katie tried talking to CJ, but he ignored her. Katie begged him to forgive her, but he wouldn't. Why should he? She had no right to say all those thing about him because of a stupid kiss.

Finally, CJ stopped ignoring Katie, instead of forgiving her, he cussed her out and told her to never talk to him again. Katie did exactly what CJ had told her to do, but deep down, Katie wished she would have never listened to him. She regretted it for the rest of her life and lost the one chance she ever had at true love.

CJ gave up on love after Katie. He dwelled on it until he was 19, he found himself drinking to take away the pain of him missing her. He died that night, in a car crash from drunk driving. His last thought before he died was Katie. Every one of Katie's chances at love after CJ, ended in heartbreak or misery. She died at age 80, she never got married, nor did she have kids, but she had 12 cats, which was good enough for her.
