Alyssa's POV

"Well guys, here we go." Marsha let out a sigh of anticipation as we walked onto campus.

It was our first official day at the U.

College girls. Officially.

We had already dropped our stuff off at the new apartment that we would all be staying in. We all had decent night jobs so we could pay for it well enough if we all chipped in and split the expenses.

" You know, I'm so freaking happy we all got into the same school." Vic  sighed.

We all nodded in agreement.

It was a lucky break. Marsha has a hard time with school because people bother her and she gets in trouble more than she learns. Nor could she really afford tuition. But she got a scholarship in on soccer. She was going to get a degree in art, she's studying to be a tattoo artist. She was good at it no doubt. She did all of hers. Except her roses. They went from her thigh to her neck and down her arm, across her body too.

I had less trouble getting into MAU, Music and Arts University. Grades were good and I had money saved up. Plus being valedictorian in highschool helped tons. I was going in to be a singer. We're all pretty good on vocals.

Vic got in pretty easy too, her uncle paid her tuition, plus she was awarded for many different things in highschool. It got her on the news and in papers. Made her known. A lot of different colleges wanted her, but she chose to stay with us. She was going in to be a writer and illustrator.

So we all had different classes. It was going to be a long day.

As we signed up for classes, I noticed a group of girls huddling in a circle around a blonde with a little to much skin showing. She was holding up about six tickets. She was yelling something but I couldn't really hear her. I looked across to Vic and Marsha. They saw what was going on too. Marsha started walking in that direction. Me and Vic held back. Amused. You never know what that girl will do. We watched as she made here way to the middle of the huddle. Then she disappeared amidst all the other girls who were taller than her.

About ten minutes later she came back holding three of the six tickets.

"How much do you guys love me?" She said with a smirk. "Cost me about two hundred and a quarter." She threw the tickets down on the grass where we had been sitting. Vic picked them up.

Vic POV

I picked up the tickets Marsha had thrown down. Alyssa had a curious look on her face but she was patient. while I skimmed the tickets.

My eyes widened as I completely froze. My mouth hanging wide open. "How in the absolute hell!?"

"What is it!?"

Alyssa lost her patience and took the tickets out of my hands. As she read them her mouth spread into the biggest smile I had ever seen her give. She turned to Marsha with tears in her eyes. " Is this for real?" she almost whispered.

Marsha sat down and said with a smile  " Yes they're real. 100%. Plus that's next week. That chick was selling them for two times they're original price. Merry early Christmas guys!" She hugged us both .

This was so big! Finally! A chance to go see them! For real! In concert!

We all three let put a squeal in delight.

" Wait, where did you get the money?" I asked.

"Yeah seriously? Who carries around two hundred and twenty five bucks?" Alyssa chirped curiously.

Marsha looked at the ground and squirmed a bit. Then she dragged us into an isolated corner. No cameras, no people. She already had the place tagged off. She knew where everything was.

" I- I um... I kinda made one last run before we left. I figure we could use it. I still have about six hundred bucks for a safety fund. I'm sorry guys I know you hate it when I do but I just needed to make a sure we had enough."

" Marsha you know how dangerous that is!" I said disapprovingly.

When Marsha gets low on cash sometimes. She does a message run. Running a message or cash or whatever the package is, by bike from one person to another. To make that much she must've done something huge though.

"Marsha, you promised never again after the time you got hit!" Alyssa said.

Marsha had been on a run one day when a guy hit her from behind. She was in the hospital for a good while. Concussion and a broken leg.

"I'm sorry guys. You know I am. After it was done and I got all my money I told  Abhud to take me off the calling list. No more Kathryn Gage. Okay? Can we forget it? I'm never going back. I hate doing that, you know how much I do. But I needed money for books and whatever else we need it for" She said as she flipped off a guy who had apparently been pointing and laughing at her shortness...

I sighed in unison with Alyssa.

"I trust you Marsha. I know after this you're done right? Pinky promise." Alyssa said.

Marsha held out her pinky.

She NEVER breaks a pinky promise. EVER.

We all hooked fingers.

"Okay, well I'm glad that's over. I have to get to class. Good luck guys!" Alyssa called out as she started running towards the building.

" She's right we need to get to class." I said as I punched Marsha arm.

"You guys aren't mad are you?" She asked timidly

"No. We just get worried." I reassured her.

Then we split and headed off to class in two different directions.
