Seven awoke sleepily to his alarm clock blaring. "Oh shoot!" He thought as he read the time. It was already 7:20! He had to be at school by 7:30. He wobbled out of bed and opened his
super cluttered closet which his mother had bothered him to clean for 2 weeks now. He snatched a navy blue shirt and a worn down pair of jeans. He slipped it on as he half walked half tripped down the stairs to grab breakfast. In the kitchen he checked his watch as he realized it was to late for breakfast. 7:25. He didn't bother to brush his teeth or hair; just walked out of the door and hopped on his bike. As he speed down the street he slowly realized he had forgotten his backpack.
"Too late now!" He thought as turned the street to his school. He ran through the doors of his school, Triditan High. His watch read 7:29. As the bell rang, Seven headed toward his first class; history. As he pushed open the door he saw her. The girl of his dreams. Molly Beta. Long golden wavy hair, sky blue eyes that changed in the sunlight. But she didn't even know who Seven was. Just the clumsy boy in her history class. She was chatting with her usual group of friends until the history teacher interrupted, "Mr. Ballard are you gonna take your seat or keep starting at Ms. Beta?"
Seven felt heat rush to his cheeks as a giggle rippled through the class. He took his normal seat right behind Molly.
" Will everybody please pass forward last nights homework from page 267."
Seven pretended to search for his "homework" in his "backpack".
Molly turned around and stuck out her hand so Seven could give her the homework. Seven gave her a wink hoping she would understand. She smiled returned the wink and turned back around.
Seven's heart skipped a beat. She'd talked to him! Well more like signaled him.
Mr. Harrison, the history teacher, quickly scanned through the pages. Heart thumping Seven prayed he wouldn't get caught. If he did he would of gotten detention.
Finally Mr. Harrison tossed the stack of papers on his desk and started talking about the civil war. A huge weight lifted off of his back. But he still had Chemistry, English, and Math papers he needed to hand in. And Ms. Hooter, the math teacher, never-ever let's anything slip in her class. Seven was doomed unless something totally major came up. Something that could end the world as we know it.
