Chapter 5:(Tobias POV)

I just met Tris and I already feel like she changed my life. She actually cares about me. I walk into my house.

"You are 10 minutes late. My dad says. "Sorry" I say. I already know tonight is going to be bad.

I was right it was awful. I go upstairs and go to sleep.

Now it's morning and I can barely get up. I manage to. Then I go to school.

I walk into math and I see Tris is already there. She sees me and gasps. "Oh my god are you ok?" She asks.

"I'm fine" I say lying.

"No your not. It was your father wasn't it?" She asks. I nod. "I'm so so so sorry." She says.

Math is soon over. Then English. Then more classes.

(Tris POV)

I can't believe this guy! He beats his own son! I feel so bad for him. Tobias.

Soon the day is over.

I'm about to leave to go on my date! I'm so excited! We are going to a carnival!

We get there and I can already tell it's going to be so much fun!

So far the night has been so much fun! We decide to go a Farris wheel. Tobias looks scared. He must be afraid of heights.

"It's ok" I say. He still looks worried. "I'll be right there. It will be fine."

It goes around a few times then we stop right at the top. "It's ok" I say. Then we kiss.

"Tris would would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asks. I'm sure he already knows I'm going to say yes.

"Yes!" I say. Then we kiss.

Soon it's time to get off. Then we leave.

I walk in the house. I told my mom I was at Christina's. She looks like she knows I was lying.

"Christina called an hour ago to see if you were here. She said you didn't answer your phone." She says.

"Umm..." I say I need to think of something now.

"Tris you were with that boy weren't you?" She asks. I nod. "Tris next time tell be the truth. I like him he seems really nice." She says.

"Sorry mom." I say and go upstairs.

Christina texts me.
