All the pups except for Chase walked out of their pup houses and noticed that Chase wasn't up yet, which was weird for them. "That's weird. Why isn't Chase up yet?" said Rocky. "I don't know, that is weird." said Zuma as he knocked on Chase's door. "Hey Chase, you up dude?" said Zuma as there was no answer from the German Shepherd pup. "Chase? Are you asleep?" said Skye as she knocked on the door. The door slightly opened and Chase walked out very slowly, making all the pups worried. "Chase, are you okay buddy?" said Marshall.
Chase did not say a word, he was so scared after hearing that there was a dangerous group of men that beats innocent German Shepherds to death, it is cruel in so many ways. "Yeah, I'm fine Marshall." said Chase as he lied right through his teeth which made all the pups even more worried for their leader. "Chase, you know we are your teammates and you are our leader, but you can't tell a lie even if your life was on the line." said Rubble which made Chase worried a lot more.
"Are you sure you're okay Chase?" said Skye. Chase couldn't help it anymore, he just blurted out, "Alright I cant take it anymore!" This scared the pups so they asked him what's wrong. "Last night, I heard a noise, so I went to check it out and someone left the tv on, so I went to turn it off and then the news suddenly came on and they said that a group of men known as GSK escaped from prison and they're on a hunt right now." said Chase. "What's GSK?" said Rocky. "German Shepherd Killers." said Chase as he started whimpering and all the pups comforted him. "We better tell Ryder." said Marshall.
All the pups ran to the lookout and saw that Ryder was fixing breakfast for him and the pups. "Ryder!" said the pups. "Oh good morning pups. What's up?" said Ryder. "Chase has something very important to tell you." said Rocky. Oh. Ok. Chase, What is it?" said Ryder. "I saw on the news last night that there is a group of men known as GSK that escaped from prison and they're on a hunt through Adventure Bay." said Chase as he whimpered again. "What's GSK?" said Ryder. "German Shepherd Killers." said Chase. Ryder was now also scared, but he shook it off and held Chase in his arms and was hugging his first pup. "Don't worry Chase, if anyone wants to get to any of my pups, they have to get through me first." said Ryder. "And us too, we're here for you Chase." said Marshall.
All the pups nodded with Ryder and Marshall which made Chase smile because he knows that his family he ever knew would be there for him, no matter what happens. "Thanks guys." said Chase.
