The black-haired girl stuttered as she shifted her feet nervously. She seems familiar, and she's cute as all hell. She thought to herself as their eyes met. "Miss Shizuki, you can go sit next to Ryuoko. That will be your seat this year, and I bet she'll show you around," Omi watched as Kei slipped into the seat next to hers. Kei brushed a strand of her hair out of her line of sight before adjusting her glasses. Omi watched before focusing on the teacher, every-so-often glancing at Kei.

The first day of school ended as quickly as it started, and thankfully Omi didn't have any Student Council meetings that day, so she got to go straight home that day. She walked home alone as always, sighing contently as she made it home. She swung open the door, her sister following her close behind. "Schoolwork first, then you can draw your hentai or whatever," Aiko said coyly with a smirk and placed her bag down. "It's Manga you Idgit!" Omi stamped her foot on the ground, a bit agitated that Aiko kept teasing her about that. "Oh, and we have paperwork for the Council today, so thats probably our top priority at the moment," Omi nodded and opened her bag, pulling out a grey file labeled 'Student Council'. She opened it and pulled out a few papers, it was normal paperwork that they had to do occasionally, but they had a bit more paperwork this time because it was the beginning of the year. She finished it after about 30 minutes, it was standard work that didn't take her too long. She sighed and slipped the papers into the grey folder, leaving her sister to finish her work. Their parents died when Omi was little, but they were old enough to take care of themselves. She walked upstairs and started to hear her phone start to buzz, she picked it up and realized it was her editor. She answered it in an near instantly:

Omi: Yahello, Shishi!

Shishi (Omi's Editor): Hey, Omi-sama. I wanted to have a meeting with you today because I've gotten a call from a Writer's editor saying that 'they both have great potential, and I think they would be greater if they worked together'

Omi: Oh?

Shishi: Yeah, I know. I know this is short notice but the writer is here at the lobby, and I've read a portion of one of her books today, and all I can say is that she's an amazing writer. Omi, I would suggest meeting with her... So please hurry to the office, I want you to decide if you want to partner up with her since you have school tomorrow

Omi: Oh, Ok. I'll be there in a bit, Cya!

Omi heard the familiar beep of the phone hanging up. She smiled and clicked her phone off, placing it on the counter. She scurried to the bathroom and changed into much more comfortable clothing, consisting of worn ash colored jeans and a slightly oversized black shirt. She tried to fix her fluffy, yet ruffled teal hair, before giving up with an overdramatic sigh. She scumbled to the kitchen, stuffing her phone in her pocket and slipping on her black, leather trench coat. She didn't normally wear such dark toned clothing, but it was fall and the weather was always bitter. "Goin' on a date or something?" Aiko smirked as Omi scoffed at her before scuttling out of the house and jogging towards her editor's building.

                                                                                ~Timeskip~

Omi swung open the door, huffing and puffing like her life depended on it. The receptionist looked up, only to shake her head with a gentle smile at the young, bundle of joy that was popular through the building. "I'm here for-" "Yes I know, just head up to your office, I already have you checked in," the receptionist interrupted with a chuckle as Omi just raced off to her office. She, once again, swung the office door open, scaring the life out of Shishi and the visitor. Omi rushed in and closed the door, her cheeks flushed from running "A-ano, I'm sorry I'm late," the energetic tealette sat down with a sheepish look on her face, while her editor was not amused. Shishi rubbed her temples before composing herself "Anyways, I'm sorry about her. No matter, Kei, this is Omi Ryuoko, Omi, this is Kei Shizuki," Shishi introduced both of them, and they both went tense as a pulled muscle. Shishi raised an eyebrow, did they know each other?

A/N~: Hehe, another cliffhanger. Also I'm so sorry that I disappeared so suddenly, there was a lot of work to do at school and I kinda just lost inspiration, hehe. But I'll continue this, but don't expect me to update often kay? Alright, buh-bye~
