Breath of the Wild

Chapter One:The Great Plateau

He didn't know where he was, or how he got there. He could recall nothing except for his name, Link.

  His head throbbed from sitting up to fast and his eyes were still adjusting to the lighting in the room.

  The room was lit only by dim blue lights surrounding the pool of water he was in; and by the stand across the room which appeared to have a small slate upon it.

  Link slowly stood up and walked over to the stand to examine the slate, which upon further inspection glowed a faint blue and orange.

  He went to pick up the ancient slate when suddenly the screen glowed with a bright blue light and somewhere in his mind he remembered it was called a "Shekiah Slate." Link knew nothing about where he had heard this, but decided to continue exploring the room.

  Behind the stand there was a small hallway which he walked through, which led to two chests. One which contained an old white shirt, and the other which had a pair of brown well worn trousers.

After putting them on he continued to walk out of the cave like structure to the warm yellow light ahead.

  Upon first glance the light was blinding. Link had to cover his eyes for a brief second.

  Once he thought he was used to the light he uncovered his eyes and walked into the vast world beyond.

  What he saw was truly breathtaking.
