Link walked a few miles away from the Shrine of Resurrection to explore the small field beyond. He had found a small branch on his journey. Which he now used as a weapon, but fortunately he had yet to run into any enemies.

On his walk he remembered a few things; he had been asleep for one hundred years, someone was waiting for him, but he did not yet know who, and he was put into the Shrine of Resurrection after he had fallen in battle nearly a century ago.

Link felt as if he was missing something, something important, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. He figured he would remember someday.

The sun was slowly setting and Link had yet to find a place to stop and rest for the night. Until he saw the smoke of a fire inside a cave on the side of the path he was currently walking along.

Link looked up at the sky one last time. The sun was almost gone. He had a feeling it was unwise to stay out at night, especially how he was now. He had no protective clothing on and a tree branch to protect himself.

He picked up speed and headed towards the smoke to hopefully find shelter for the night.

When Link had arrived he saw two things; some baked apples, and an old man sitting with his back to the fire.

Link was starving, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to pick up one of the old mans apple's and eat it.

Suddenly the old man spoke, "I believe that is my baked apple."

Startled Link dropped the apple and quickly apologized to the man.

"That's okay go ahead and eat it, you look like you need it more than me. In fact why don't you go ahead and rest here for the night." The old man said.

Link thanked the old man for his hospitality and went to settle down for the night.
