Before the five Great Islands, there was Undique, a ginormous land mass that spanned millions of miles, and before man would tread on its soil, there were dragons. The dragons were the fastest, the strongest, and the wisest creatures the world had seen. They were millions strong and their numbers roamed over the continent, protecting and taking care of it and all the lesser creatures that inhabited it. They were content in their roles as the ultimate life forms and gave regular praise to the creator of their world.

All seemed calm and steady when one day, a dragon saw an object approach the shore while making its rounds. This object was large with white wings carried by the wind and on this object were a great number of creatures, much smaller than the dragon but very mysterious. The dragon quickly flew away to inform the others and their leaders. These were Yn, the dragon of the earth, Vepo, the dragon of the sea, Anemos, the dragon of the sky, and most importantly, ZOI, the reborn dragon and the life force of their race. Upon hearing of the arrival of these strange creatures, the 4 dragons thought up a plan to test the visitors.

A small battalion stepped out of the white winged vessel and onto the land. They were amazed at its beauty and vast expanse. They began to sample the fruit from the earth when they were met by a dragon soaring down and hovering above. They were terrified by it and drew their weapons, sharp edged steel and large plates of metal that rested on their arms. The dragon spoke but it's language was different from theirs and they continued to stand firm together, weapons raised. The dragon saw the way they stood together and was a bit frightened as well. He left and told the 4 dragons what he saw. They were collectively impressed by such unity. They were creatures that fought in numbers and were stronger together than apart. To the dragons, this demanded a level of respect, for surely any creatures who stood with their own were of noble character.

It was decided then that the dragons would welcome their visitors as guests and allow them to partake in the wealth of their land, for their god was a being of acceptance and love. A dragon approached a camp of the creatures, bearing gifts, which was a message that any creature would understand. The guests gladly accepted the gifts and befriended the dragons. As time went by, the dragons learned much about their guests. They learned their language, their cultures, and learned that they were called humans, and the humans did the same. It was a time of great peace and friendship, but the dragons would soon learn something new about their guests. The humans were greedy.

After years of conglomeration, the humans had begun to populate further, bringing back their families and friends, and creating new humans as well. Soon the land they were allotted was simply not large enough to hold them all, so they expanded, clearing forests and damming rivers as they went. They also were taking large numbers of wildlife to a point where some species were dwindling. The dragons became concerned and sent one out to speak to the humans. The humans explained their need to expand and the dragon told them that they were destroying the land they were blessed with and that it needed to cease. The humans paid no heed to the dragons and they became angry. They sent a small group out put an end to the destruction, about ten dragons or so, but they were met with thousands of men who wouldn't take no for an answer. A battle raged, froth with bloodshed and dragon fire, but in the end only two dragons returned, both terribly injured. They proclaimed that the humans were simply too strong, for they fought as one and thus were unstoppable.

The four great dragons were afraid of man's terrible power and were determined to do away with it. Thought it wasn't morally sound, they decided that the only way to stop the humans was to divide them. Now putting their intelligence above their strength, the dragons went out to deceive the creatures who had overstayed their welcome. A dragon arrived at the humans encampment and announced that the dragons were granting a portion of land to the humans. It would be beautiful and rich with resources, but only a small number could enter. As was predicted, the humans began fearing for their survival. Arguments and fighting broke out amongst them, for a decision could not be made on what to do with this land and whom should enter. This dispute escalated into other disputes, and before long, humanity had a plethora of reasons to divide themselves, and so they did. The once unified race of humans became five tribes, each going their separate ways. Wars broke out among the different tribes, all fighting for a land they were never to receive.

The dragons were pleased with their work. The humans now fought amongst themselves and were not as one, but they were still destroying the dragons' world, so the dragons decided to act on this moment of weakness. Scores of the fire breathing titans went forth to eliminate man. Their attempts were met with success and the now weakened human population was dwindling. Upon hearing of the total eradication of the north most tribe, the rest of the humans became wary. A great warrior by the name of Michael stood amongst all of the tribes and rallied them together. At this time, the number of humans had increased one hundred fold from the time they had arrived on the dragons' land and they were united again for this final fight.

The dragons caught wind of this new union and saw the five tribes making their way towards the great mountains, to merge and confront them. The four most powerful dragons knew that their demise was on the horizon, should they not act. In an effort to protect ZOI, the other three used their great power. Yn separated the land into six giant plates, separating each tribe and the mountains, Vepo raised the waters between each plate, further pushing them apart, and Anemos called upon great and powerful winds that blew in six directions and pushed the plates hundreds of miles apart across the great sea. The humans were in shock. They were suddenly on separate islands, far away from each other and the great mountains.

Yn, Vepo, and Anemos has exhausted their power and life force protecting their kind. They died, leaving ZOI alone to care for their race. ZOI lived for thousands of years and was then reincarnated into a new reborn dragon, a cycle that will continue perpetually until the dragons' last days.
