Chapter 2 'Decision'

I walked home. My way home takes 20 minutes. But now it took 35 minutes, I walked really slowly thinking about the chance to be in a music video. My life then will change. I love my life at the moment, but I really want to show my talent to more people. I walked home thinking about the chance and listening to Believe. I'm not really a hater on his music, because his music is good. I just don't quite like him as a person. Okay, maybe I don't like him because I haven't met him ... But,  hey, you don't judge book by it's cover, I guess. My mom was already home. Actually, this is the first time my mom was home so early. She was making dinner. It was 9pm. I walked up to her, she saw something was not okay.

Mom -'Hey. Why so sad ?'

- 'Not sad, just, I met some guy named Josh. He asked me if I want to audition for music video.'

Mom -'Take the chance and don't be late. Oh, and what artist ?'

- 'Justin Bieber. You really think so ?'

Mom -' Sure. I know that you're confident, especially when it comes to dancing'

- 'Thanks, mom. I'll go get ready for tomorrow then and go to sleep early.'

I hugged my mom and went upstairs to my room. I chose what to wear and started to make a dance to As Long As You Love Me. I danced for like 2 hours. Suddenly, I heard my phone ring, that made me jump a little. It's Luke( my friend).

Luke -'Hey,Jess. What's up ?'

- 'Oh God, you scared me. Yeah, hi. Just rehearsing for auditions.'

Luke - 'What auditions ?'

- 'For a music video.'

Luke - 'Wow.'

- 'What ?'

Luke - 'No, I mean if you'll get trough, which I mean you absolutely will, You'll be famous one day.'

- 'Maybe, who knows ...'

There was a moment of silence.

Luke - ' Sorry, Jess. I have to go.'

- 'Okay. Bye.'

Luke hung up and I put my phone back where it was. I decided to go eat something, my mom was already sleeping, so I had to do everything quietly. I ate and went to bed. I took a quick shower, changed into an over-sized shirt and fell asleep.

Next day I woke up at 11 am. I had to get ready by at least 12, I needed to be there early, I can't be late. I ran into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, made a messy bun, changed and went to the dance studio. I walked into the big hall, there wasn't a big line. I was 6th. There were 3 judges. One of them was Josh, I don't know what was the man in the middle, but I guess another one was Justin, as I can see.

Justin -'Hey, what's your name ?'

- 'My name's Jessie. And I'm gonna dance to As Long As You Love Me'

Justin - 'Okay, hit it !'

I danced the whole dance, all three of them clapped and Justin even stood up. My smile was so big.

Justin -'You were perfect'

I nodded and went backstage to other girls. All 12 girls danced and after 40 minutes Josh, Justin and the other man came to us.

One of judges -' Hey, kids. As you know, I'm Scooter. And we decided which one is the best.'

Oh, he's Scooter. I thought I have seen or heard of him before. I was nervous, I really wanted to get trough.

Josh - 'We're sorry for those who didn't get through, but you were all amazing and thank you all for your work. From here, we have decided the best one would be Jessie' And he pointed at me.

My smile grew big.

- 'Me ?'

Justin - 'Yes' And winked at me. Okay ? What was that ?

All the girls congratulated me. I walked towards Josh, Scooter and Justin.

Scooter - ' Now, do you have time ?'

- 'Yeah, why ?'

Scooter - 'We need to talk about the video and stuff.'

-'Umm, okay. Where ?'

Scooter - ' Let's go to the small hall'

- 'Okay.'

All four of us went to the small hall. I got butterflies in my stomach, because Justin actually was cute in person. We all sat down.

Josh -'So, we will start filming it next Tuesday.'

-'Where ?'

Josh -' Well, at Malibu and NY'

- 'What ? How will I get there ?'

Scooter - 'We'll take you. And from there we'll probably be able to offer you a place on tour, because out of all of today's auditions, yours was the best. You basically killed it.'

-'Tour? I'm not sure.'

Josh -'We'll give you time until next Wednesday.'

I was a bit shocked. I want to be in the tour and also in the video, but I don't want to leave my friends and family. When the heck will I get home then ?

- 'Okay, how can I contact with you ?'

Scooter gave me a piece of paper. -' There are my, Josh's and Justin's phone numbers, if you need something just call. And, what's your number, by the way ?'

I took a piece of paper and wrote it down and gave it to Scooter. Suddenly, Justin pulled the piece of paper out of Scooter's hands and wrote my number in his phone. I looked confused at him. He winked at me 2 times. Was he trying to flirt or what ? He's kinda weird ....
