TING TONG!

The third time.

That was already the third time Jiwon pushed the door bell of—he supposed—Kim Hanbin's house. Well, according to the address there is no way he got the house wrong.

The clock already stated, 5:15 PM. Kind of late but check. The street, check. The number, checked. Mail box with a 'Kim' written on it, checked. What could possibly go wrong?

He blinked on his own question, he realized. Things could go beyond wrong.

His hands are now sweating. What did he know about Kim Hanbin except that he's his classmate and now his project partner? What did he know? It's totally possible for a person to pull a joke on him then say things like 'god you think i'd really work with you?' or guess i nailed fooling you around by giving you the wrong address, you fool!'

Shit. Shit. Anxiousness once again successfully got the best of him. Maybe.. maybe he should leave before anyone answer the bell. Damn, what if Kim Hanbin actually sent him into a psychopath's house? That is possible, surely.

Jiwon was about to turn on his heels and considered to sprint away as fast as he could before a swing of the door being opened heard. Jiwon gasped, closed his eyes as fast. His mind suddenly wander, he remembered that he hasn't even said his farewell to his family and—Pooh!

"..Uh, Jiwon? Are you okay?" The man who was a friend of silence a moment ago after opening the door finally decided to talk. Okay look, Jiwon looks so fucking good this evening. With his lavender oversized hoodie, his blue distressed jeans, also don't forget the soft messy brown hair. And what's with him closing his eyes?! He looked pretty frightened though—very cute. Hanbin is so memorizing his feature this evening.

Jiwon peeked a little sight of the man infront of him before fully took a glance, exhaling the breathe he didn't know he was holding, "I.. Kim Hanbin! What took you so long? No offense though, but i really thought you sent me into a psycho's house or something!"

A smile formed its way up before he burst into a laugh, "That's why you look like you were about to piss yourself right here?! Well, i am offended. Just because i took a little while to open the door doesn't mean i set you up on a trap or fooled you with a wrong address. Jiwon, believe in me will you?"

The intensity drained away slowly, Jiwon took a deep breath once again while trying to settle down his beating heart. He frowned, 'Believe in me' he said? "Yeah. Yeah, of course. I just.. i'm sorry i wasn't exactly—sure?"

Hanbin raised a brow, he should totally work on that one. Not that he's complaining, "No worries Jiwon. Take it easy, like seriously—and c'mon here. Let's go inside shall we?" He opened the door wider while stepping aside, signaling the latter to walk in.

In the end he only progressed to nod sheepishly before entering the house. Jiwon mumbled a soft 'excuse me', took off his pair of old skool vans, he returned his glance back to the male who had just closed the door. Jiwon frowned deeply at his appearance, "..Were you about to head somewhere else?"

Hanbin then took a glance towards his appearance, "No? Why?"

Too much, that's what he thought as he snorted. He wondered if this was the first time Hanbin ever received a visit. Who the hell wore a white long sleeves—he kinda rolled them up—buttoned up, and a distressed jeans, the hair is fine though but still, "You tell me. Honestly, you look like you were about to go out somewhere."

Hanbin frowned. Maybe.. he did a little too much. But hey! You know that feeling when your crush is giving your house a visit and you just want to look good? Exactly. Don't blame him. He faked a cough, "Thank you?"

A brow raised immediately, "That—" wasn't a compliment, he supposed its better keep it to himself, "You're welcome."

Let's be honest, styling himself was one of the reasons why he took awhile to open the door.

———

Jiwon eyed the inside of the house in awe, it was spacious. Just when you walked into the main living room slash family room—which is not quite far from the door's hall—you can see a grey corner sofa. Infront of it was a rectangle table made of glass placed on top of a soft white carpet, then a massive television.

His house was surprisingly clean and tidy though. Except for the table—there was a kid's drawing and some crayons displayed on it. Jiwon looked over to some old family pictures hanging on the wall from the left side of the sofa—those basically almost filled the wall—and some figured pictures on each sides of the television.

He inhaled his surroundings. The house has a scent of a fresh lemon which felt comforting somehow. Jiwon then took a sit on the sofa after Hanbin shouted somewhere in the kitchen with the usual 'make yourself at home!' kind of line.

He took out his phone from the pocket, informing his brother that he's probably going to return home late. His head shot upward when he heard footsteps coming closer to him.

Hanbin dipped himself into the sofa beside him with a groan. Not to be dramatic but the sofa sure feels much more comfortable right now that he sat beside Jiwon, "Here." Hanbin handed Jiwon a glass of an orange juice while the other hand held a glass for himself.

"Oh, thanks." Jiwon took the glass before immediately taking a sip of the orange juice, glad that it's cold, "So.. i suppose that's not yours?" He pointed the drawing infront of them with his chin.

A brow raised after Hanbin took a sip, he absentmindedly nodded, "My sister's. Hanbyul is the name. She's currently a primary student. Also sorry for the mess, she doesn't like when someone take care of her mess."

"I see." Is all he managed to reply, his mind wandered. What are they meeting for again? Oh. Oh, right. Jiwon cleared his throat, he turned his eyes to the male with a brow raised. Their eyes met, "When can we start? Y'know, the project?"

Hanbin—who had discreetly stole some glances on the male—blinked. He shrugged awkwardly before standing up, "I mean we can start now, my room is upstairs."

Jiwon finished the last sip of his orange juice, placing it on top of the table. He stretched his body before shooting himself upward. "Sure. Lead the way." Perhaps, it's true that i should start believing in him. Jiwon glanced the male—Kim Hanbin.
