"Hello? Yeah. What's up cousin? Oh really? Yeah? Well that's good for you, you happy & shit"
I had my phone to my ear when a mild vibration threw me off. I usually don't get notifications or messages since I moved out of the city, so this was unusual.

"Hold on Lorraine."
I pressed end on the phone call and saw that Aysia had texted me.
She basically acknowledged what happened and that she's over it now and wants to meet up.

I found myself dialing her number.

"Hello?"
She answered.

Aysia

"Hey. How you been?"
I asked, with Lo sitting in the back, watching intensely. She was grilling the hell out of me.
"Boo bitch"
I joked & she replied with an eye roll.

"Who is that?"
Oje asked quickly.
"You really got somebody else and you on my damn phone?!"

Shit.

"No I don't have anybody else man."
I tried sounding calm. We did not need to mess this up.. Especially with this being the first step to getting Siya back.

The line went silent for a while.
I removed the phone from my ear and checked to see if she was still on the line.
"Hello?"
"I know you didn't hang up on me."

She chuckled before responding.
"So what's up?"

"Can we meet up and talk?"
Sweat formed in the palm of my hand as I waited on a response from this girl. She was so weird.

"Hellooo?"
I was growing impatient listening to her breathe.

"Where?"
She answered blankly.
