"Alright, introductions aside, she's still not supposed to be here. Even if she has a meet and greet pass." Clyde said impatiently, narrowing his dark brown eyes at me and crossing his arms over his chest.

My heart was beating out of control. I glanced from Harry to Clyde nervously, then back to Harry, not sure what to do.

"Well, I'll see you in a while for the meet and greet I guess. I hope you enjoy the show. Maybe you could stop by afterwards, to tell me what you thought?" Harry offered. He blinked a couple of times to get rid of his last tears.

"Mr. Styles, she's not allowed–" Clyde interrupted.

"Clyde! I'm inviting her." Harry said sternly. "Make sure she gets here safely, and that no one else follows her here. Okay?" He softened his voice towards the end. Clyde nodded with a sigh, and then walked back down the hallway.

"Maybe you should go to the bathroom. You know, don't want you to explode." Harry joked, turning around and walking aimlessly in his room, looking down at his feet.

"Right, of course–" I said, already starting to walk out of the door.

"You will stop by afterwards, right?" He asked, making me stop in my tracks. He sounded to hopeful.

I flashed him smile, holding onto the doorframe as I said, "I will,"

I quickly found my way to the bathroom, replaying what just happened over and over again in my head. There was one thing that bothered me, though. Harry said that I should come back, but he told Clyde not to let anyone else come with me. So what am I going to do with Heather?

Heather's face seemed to light up when she finally spotted me walk back down the hallway into the meet and greet room. I ducked underneath the queue barrier swiftly, standing upright next to her.

"Finally! What took you so long? You were gone for like twenty minutes!" She said, eying me up and down.

"I got lost." I told her, but the way her hazel eyes seemed darker whilst she ran a hand through her fawn-coloured hair told me she didn't buy it.

"You smell like cologne," She stated. I froze for a second, thinking that I might smell like Harry because he must've sprayed his cologne on in his room. But I pushed back my shoulders and looked directly at her, building up as much confidence as I could so she wouldn't find out I wasn't telling her the whole story.

"I got stopped by security," I explained.

"Dear God, why? What did you do now? Can't you just stay out of trouble for once?" She asked, sounded as worried as my mum would've been. But hey, at least she believed the cologne was from the security guard. Success.

"I wandered off too far, apparently, so this big chunky guy told me off. The bathrooms were like a kilometre away." I told her.

She rolled her eyes and giggled. "This could've only happened to someone like you, Rowan."

Yeah, and I just met your idol.

The inside of the concert venue was packed and very loud, despite the fact that only the opening act was currently performing. The crowd was dotted with bright merch tees and giant posters that must've taken hours to create.

"It's already so warm in here, I'm sweating," Heather shouted over everybody else's conversations.

"I can't lie, I feel so out of place. Do you think it's obvious I'm not a fan and that I shouldn't be here?" I asked her honestly. I felt vulnerable, and I could feel the eyes of so many strangers boring into my back, asking me why I'm not wearing a merch tee like they are.

"You look better than Alfie ever would have." Heather shrugged. I frowned. Heather would've never dared say that about her own boyfriend.

"Thanks, good to know I look better than someone who's ill." I said sarcastically, trying to lighten the mood a bit. Heather didn't reply, she just stared straight ahead and pretended to be interested in the opening act, even though nobody was dancing or singing along.

Suddenly, all the lights switched off and I felt my stomach flip. Thousands of girls (and boys) started screaming from the top of their lungs, hands went up in the air, and music started playing from the speakers even louder than before.

"This is happening! This is really happening! Oh god, I feel light headed. My heart is beating so fast. I can't wait to see what kind of suit he's wearing!" Heather spoke so quickly, I could barely catch on to what she was saying.

Coloured lights darted around the arena as the screen on stage slowly lifted, revealing a pair of black boots, then black sparkly trousers, then a black sparkly blazer with a black button down shirt underneath, and then a curly haired Harry Styles with a bright smile on his face.

I couldn't quite comprehend that right there stood the Harry whom I've known for so long, with thousands of people screaming his name as he began singing his opening song. I was overwhelmed with a feeling of pride and I nearly wanted to cry, but I had to stop myself because that would've made me look weird in front of Heather, and she wouldn't have understood.
