|| Jess ||"Look, maybe you should watch where you're going–"
When I looked up to see who it was I bumped into my jaw dropped. I saw what had appeared to be an angel. Ok maybe I'm over exaggerating a bit but he was gorgeous. His face looked as if it was crafted perfectly by the gods and his eyes were a dark brown, revealing his chiseled jaw. His hair looked extremely smoothed and parted nicely, not too messy but not neat.
"Can I help you?" He asked me snapping me back into reality.
"Oh I uh—" I stepped back away from him and he smirked. Even his smirk gave me butterflies in my stomach. He was kinda cute.. not going to lie. I instantly felt my cheeks heat up to a bright red tomato colour and felt embarrassed.
"Your phone, its slightly cracked." He pointed to my phone and I tried to keep myself calm over the fact that it wasn't a slight crack. It was a massive crack. And I began to feel ashamed about how clumsy I really am. "Oh shit.." I mumbled under my breath.
"I know a place where you can get it repaired." He kindly asked me.
I smiled at him and kindly rejected his offer. "Thanks so much but, I have to wait for my sister." It sucked to not spend more time with him because he's so good looking but it's true, Adrianna would be worried about me.
"Are you sure? I feel really bad it was my fault." He felt apologetic toward the phone. I smiled at him as if it wasn't a problem at all. "Honestly, it's all good don't worry about it."
I turned around to face Adrianna who already came out of the store with a shopping bag. That was quick..
"That was abnormally fast." I said to her. Adrianna ignored me and said hi to the guy who is still standing next to me awkwardly. I don't know why he's still here because I thought he would just leave like any other stranger would but I guess not...
"What happened here?" Adrianna snatched the phone from my hand and I sighed. "How long have you hid this from—" "I was the one who smashed the phone. We accidentally bumped into each other and she so happened to have the phone in her hand, Miss." He defended me. I smiled over at him and he returned it.
There goes the butterflies.
Adrianna rolled her eyes and gave me spare change in her purse to pay for a new screen. "Oh no need. I can pay for it, I damaged it." The guy insisted. How can someone possibly be that nice and compassionate to give up their money to buy a stranger a new phone screen? That's rare.
"Oh it's alright honestly, my sister has issues—"
"Ri!" I called her out embarrassed.
She smiled and finally accepted the offer from the guy. "Alright, thanks so much you're too generous. Meet me outside the car park in half an hour."
I nodded and began walking with the guy to the phone replacement place. I don't even know where we are going but I'm trusting this dude to take me to wherever it is. To be honest I'm surprised Adrianna is even allowing me to hang around with this really attractive looking guy who just so happens to be nice.
"So, I'm Johnny. What's yours?" He asks me calmly.
"I'm Jess."
"Nice name."
