They promised to not leave them but they did
Left them broken and alone once again
They lied to them over and over, kid
Broken and alone you left them in pain
You broke that promise that you won't leave them
How can you look at them again, 'it's hard'
You leaving is like making the lights dim
Are you happy now? You left with no card
You said promises are meant to be kept
What happen to the promise you made me?
I'm hurting so much that I overslept
I don't understand you want to plea
We take our promises seriously
But you left us so mysteriously
Can someone guess why the last words are bold
