Chapter 4: Birthday Suprises

Gene P.o.v

I was walking to school when Zenix came running up to me. "Gene! Gene! It's almost my birthdaaaaaaaaaay!" He sounded so excited I said "Cool! When is it?" We started walking into the gates together as he replied "It's on Monday!" "What day is it today?" I asked, checking my phone, "It's Friday already?!" I said, completely shocked. 'I NEED TO GET HIM SOMETHING' I screamed in my head. We stopped in the front of the school and Sasha arrived, she saw Zenix jumping up and down on the spot and looked at me in confusion. I mouth the words 'It's his birthday on Monday'  and her face held a look of panic. I laughed when the bell rang. We walked in together and Sasha left for Math. We walked into English and sat down in our seats. I saw Ein walk in with a meifwa (is that how you spell it?) with orange hair and eyes. I smirked at Ein he just glared a me in response.

I walked out of class and said to Zenix "I need to go and do something OK?" He nodded and I ran in the direction that Kitty was walking in. "Kitty!" I yelled she turned around and groaned "What Gene." "I need you to get something for me from Macy's." Her face lit up when I said 'Macy's' and I explained my plan. "Right.... So you want me to get them so.... Yeah! Ok! I'll get them after school and run them over to your house. Bye!" She said and turned around and walked off, I hoped this worked.

I met up with Zenix and he asked me what I did. "U-uh.... I had to give something to Sasha..." I couldn't think of a better excuse. "Ok...." Zenix said an we headed to lunch. We grabbed some food and sat by Sasha. "So... Guys y'know that thing on Instagram..." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Are you.... Together?" Zenix just stayed silent with his face a bright red. I just looked at him for help but he just shrugged. "No answer." I said and Sasha looked frustrated as heck. "We'll tell ya later." I shrugged.

~Time skip until after school~

I walked out alone from the school, I had no idea were Zenix was, or Sasha. I texted Kitty to see if our plan was still on.

G: Hey Kitty. Are you still getting them?
K: Yeah. I'm doing it now.
G: HOW ARE YOU ALREADY THERE?! SCHOOL JUST ENDED.
K: When it comes to Macy's, I'm always there as soon as possible.
G: okay... Come by my house as soon as you can.
K: I got this Gene.

I walked home and found Dante on the couch with some shortie with brown hair and a green scarf around his neck. "Who's the shortie Dante?" Dante looked at me and said "Well, Gene for your information. This shortie is my friend Vylad thanks." He said and turned back around. Vylad flashed me a friendly smile and did the same.

I walked into my room, slammed the door and waited for Kitty to drop off the thing.

I paused my YT vid as a knock came from outside my door. "Gene? Aphmaus here! I don't know why but she wants to come in!" Dantes voice called. Finally! I thought to myself. "Come in!" I declared. My door opens and in comes Kitty. "Ya got the thing?" I asked she nodded, grabbing a shoe box. "Good. You can leave now." I said, excited to give it to Zenix. She just left silently. Dante comes in a few minutes later and simply states "Ok. What the fuck." I sighed and explained what it was about. "So-ooooohhhhhh. I get it, right." "Great. Now leave I'm watching  Minecraft diaries." I said, motioning for him to leave. He left and I spent the rest of the weekend watching mcd s2.

Zenix P.o.v

I woke up with a alarm buzzing. I slammed the off button and got ready for school. Heading out the door, I see Gene running after me." Zenix! Can we.... Talk?" he asked in a serious tone. "O-ok..." I wasn't prepared for this on my birthday but alright. "So.... Are we together? Dating? Or what cause I'm confused and I just know Sasha's gonna be asking us for the entire week." "U-um.... I mean I like to be together....." I muttered. "Great! I'd love to be together." He stopped and grabbed my hands, we were halfway to school. I looked up at him with red blush spreading all over my face. "Zenix. Would y-you....like to be my b-b-boyfriend?" He stuttered. "S-Sure..." I hugged him, he seemmed really happy. "Great! So...our anniversary is on your birthday!" He seemed giddy for the rest of the day, whenever somebody would yell at us, he would just smile and say to me "Hey. Its OK." They were simple words, but they made me smile.

After school, me and Gene went to my house so I could open his gift. He gave a box to me and I opened the box to see a red pair of trainers. "NO WAY! I REALLY WANTED THESE! THANK YOU GENE! SO MUCH!!!!!!" I screeched, I hugged him so tightly, he started to cough. I gave him some water after that, we just stayed in my room until Gene had to go home.
