Chapter 8: Betrayal/Accident Part 2

Kai's P.o.v (Bet you didn't see that coming)

I was walking to the cafeteria, when I see Gene running up to me. We were friends, but not close friends. "Hey Kai, can I show you something?" He asked, and I nodded. He showed me a picture on his phone. Of my boyfriend, (Ein) kissing another guy. I was shook. I didn't know how to react, to be angry, shocked, sad, or be like 'I knew it'. Everybody told be he would break my heart. I didn't wanna believe them, but I guess they were right. I held back tears and shoved Gene out of my way. I stomped around to find Ein. I found him near the nurse's office. I saw him with a plaster on his cheek, when he saw me his face brightened. He smiled, but I didn't return it. "K-Kai?" He asked as I leaned over him, intimidating him. He look at me in fear and confusion, "K-Kai? What's wrong?" "Don't act innocent!" I snapped. He went quiet and asked after a while, "What do you mean Kai?" I glared at him. "You kissed- not kissed, made out with Zenix." He looked at his feet, his ears flattened. "Why, Ein, why?!" My voice broke up, and tears started to fall down my face. No response. I stormed off. I found Aphmau and immediately hugged her. "Kai, what's wrong?" I wiped some of my tears and said, "Ein made out with another guy, and he acted innocent as if nothing had happened!" Aphmau's face turned into an expression of anger, sympathy and confusion. "I'm hear for you Kai." I smiled, "Thanks Aphmau."

Zenix's P.o.v

I have to be honest, I felt terrible and I felt like vomiting. I felt terrible for Ein, for being laughed at, and Kai because he got betrayed by his own boyfriend! I felt like being sick because I was kissed by Ein. Bleh.

3rd person P.ov

Over the next few weeks, Kai had become better friends with Gene and Zenix. Focusing on make Kai feel better, Zenix and Gene didn't really bother with their relationship. Zenix started to realise this, and one day, approached Gene about it.

Zenix P.o.v

After me and Gene had been so busy over the last couple weeks, making Kai feel better and hanging out with him, me and Gene didn't have time for us. One day, I was in school, it was free period and I approached Gene. "Gene!" I called, he turned around and he smiled. "Hey Zenix!" He said cheerfully, I kept a serious expression, and looked up at him. "Gene, y'know over the last couple weeks?" "Yeah..." He looked down at me in confusion. "Well, we really haven't had time for us..." I lowered my head, then raised it when Gene responded, "Yeah, I guess you're right Zenix. How about a date?" I nodded, "I'd love that! How about we go to the cinema?" He smiled and nodded, "Of course. Tonight at six, is that alright?" "Yeah, see you then Gene!" I kissed Gene pm the cheek and walked off with a goofy grin on my face.
