now i know you may think that im pregnant but im not. its just because of all of the stress. 

alex: hey you good?

kathy: yeah im just stressed.

and i picks me up and carries to my room. 

he looks at me, and moves my hair from my face, and put his lips on mine, and i kiss back.

                                                                                      (later)

alex and i are sitting on my bed watching adventure time, when he asks for my attention. 

alex: would you be my girlfriend??

kathy: you dont even have to ask.

and i get a call. it was collins.

{ c= collins, k= kathy, a= alex}

c: kathy?

k: dad what's wrong ?!? why are you crying?!

c: devan went into cardiac arrest, and the doctors are trying to save him.

k: do they know what's wrong.

c: yeah he overdosed, and cut his vein.

i dont want to hear anymore and i just let the phone drop. 

a: baby what's wrong. 

that's when it hit hard. i burst into tears, and fall to the floor, and have a panic attack. 

a: hey baby. it's going to to be ok. just breath.

but i cant breath. im scared. i dont want to lose him. 

a: i need you to focus on my voice and just try to breath.

so i try to breath, and i start to calm down. 

i was able to calm down enough to speak.

k: he went into cardiac arrest. he overdosed and cut his vein deep.

we are sitting here at the hospital waiting for any more news. i told alex to head home before he got in trouble. and collins has me sitting on his lap. 

"is anyone here for devan key?"

c: that would be us. 

"he is awake and stable, but he keeps asking for a kathy."

so i follow the doctor, and he takes me up to see devan. when i walk in i see him. he is so pale. 

k: devan. 

i say letting a tear fall.

d: im sorry baby girl. 

k: i love you.

d: i love you too. but i didnt think you were going to make it back to us. so i locked myself in my room.
