it's been a week since the whole suicide attempt with devan, he has been prescribed with new anti-depressants. he doing better now that I am around. altho he seems different. every time Collins goes into town to do some work devan gets flirty. I don't know how I feel. I mean he's really hot. but he's my uncle I shouldn't be having feelings for him. I mean I have Alex. and we are going great. altho every time I see him he always has bruises, and every time I ask about them he changes the subject.
it's a normal day, I just got home from school, Collins is at work. I get a call from Alex.
k: hey babe
a: listen, Kathy, we need to talk.
k: ok??
a: we need to break up. the bruises and marks I have are because every time I sneak out to see you the headmistress finds out and beats me. so dating you is getting me hurt, and I can't take it.
K: I'm sure there is something we can do
A: goodbye Kathy
and he hangs up leaving me in tears. so it's my fault that he is being hurt. I hear a knock on my door. and devan comes in to see me crying.
d: hey what's wrong.
k: Alex broke up with me.... over the phone
he doesn't say anything he just holds me in his arms rocking us back and forth. but he pulls away and looks at me. he leans in and puts his lips on mine.
