Jasmine's P.O.V
When I was 9 years old is when I first started get abused. My mom got a new boyfriend that I despised so bad I wanted to kill him. Every time she had left for work , he would start beating me if I didn't do what he asked. He grabbed me by the throat and started choking me. "If you tell your mom about this, I'm killing you. And that's a promise." There was nothing I could do about it, so I left it alone.
Janiya's P.O.V
I met Jasmine when I was 9. We have been best friends ever since. My mom died when I was just getting born. She had a heart attack. My dad was a drug addict so he couldn't really take care of me. I wore the same clothes and shoes everyday until I met Jasmine. When I was 9, my dad took me to the park. He had a overdose and passed away. Jasmine was at the park and saw me crying.
Jasmine: "Are you okay?"
Me: "No. I have no where to stay. My dad just died and my mom had already passed."
Jasmine: " You can come stay with me if you like."
Me: " Thank you so much."
After that situation I started living with her and we became best friends.
