Chapter 6-NoBackTalk

So it's game day and you already know I'm finna get off. I have Social Studies today so I grabbed my social studies book and work. When I was just leaving, I saw Chris.
Chris: " Heyy."
Me: " Heyy. I just wanted to say that I really had a nice time yesterday and we should do it again."
Chris: " I'll call you if I come up with anything."
Me: "Okay. Bye."
Chris: " Bye."
      I ran into Marcus and he told me he would pick me up at 9. I said okay and went to class. I got to class and received a text from Chris. These are the messages:

Chris: Hey
Me: Hey
Chris: Wyd
Me: Nothing in social studies. Hbu
Chris: In English
Me: I can't hold this feeling back
Chris: What feeling
Me: The feeling I have when I'm around you
Chris: Don't you have a boyfriend
Me: Yeah but it doesn't seem like it
Chris: How about I pick you up later at 9
Me: Works for me
Chris: See you later
Me: Bye

     I put my phone in my purse while biting my lip and smiling. (the bell rings) I went to my locker to put my books up and to talk to Janiya.
Me: " Heyy bestie boo."
Janiya: " Heyy. Wyd?"
Me: " Nothing, finna go find Chris."
Janiya: " Awl."
Me: " Make sure you cheer my name tonight at the game."
Janiya: " You know I will."
Me: " Awwwn. I love you so much."
Janiya: " Love you more."
    We did our handshake and I went to look for Chris. When I found him he told me we were going to the carnival later on tonight. " Sounds fun." I said smiling. I gave him a hug and he reached down and grabbed my ass. I flinched but I secretly liked it. When I turned around I saw another girl hugging all on Marcus and grabbing on him. I just let him be a hoe and I continued on with my day.

     So it's the end of the day and I'm in the locker room getting dressed. My number is 1 because I'm number 1 in everything I do. Coach Sofia came in and gave us a pep talk before we went out there. " Make sure you remember the plays I taught. And just do you and have fun."

    I hear the announcers come on. " Are youuuuu readyyyy toooo rumbleeee." I was hyped. Coach lined us up by which position we played. I went first. I came out dribbling the ball. I went between my legs, behind my back, and of course my signature spin move then hit a layup( for warm ups). So the game was starting. I could hear the cheerleaders. " Jump ball get it get it." What a coincidence. We got jump ball. So Alesha shot the three and hit it. The crowd went wild.

(Skipped to the 4th quarter)

We were down by 4 in the 4th quarter. I didn't score any points because I've always wanted to end the game with a bang. So I crossed some girl up and she came out her shoes. I did a spin move on the girl in the middle which gave me an opportunity to hit a layup. I made it and now we are down by 2.

   It's the other teams ball and gal was trying to shoot. Alesha blocked it, threw it up to me on a fast break, and I slammed dunked it. The crowd went WiLdddddd. We are down 2 points again, It's 2.4 seconds left on the clock and it's our ball. Alesha threw it in, I turned around and shot a 3. Everything went in slow motion as I shot it until I heard the buzzer ring and the sound of the net. The crowd went wild and everybody ran to me, hugging and picking me up. I felt like I belonged here. I looked in the crowd to see Chris. I waved at him. He waved back but so did Marcus. I guess he don't know we are over.

   I went in the locker room and quickly changed. I came out and Marcus said " Good game out there baby." I said " Thanks." And walked away. I went to Chris and kissed him. Then we left. When we arrived at the carnival, we paid for our tickets and got on the Ferris Wheel. We were laughing and talking about the game. Then I felt him grab my thigh. We started making out. " Imma take you to my house. Is that okay with you?"
Me: " You know it is."
     We got off the ride and bought a funnel cake. We both shared it. When we got home. I took a shower and put in one of his t- shirts. I laid down and he started feeling on me. (And you know what happens next so ion gotta explain it).
