Before I could get a word in, he grabbed me properly, his hand covering up most of my body except my head and feet, bending my sore wings.
"Please." I whimpered, giving in, knowing he had definitely caught me this time. "I-I'm useless to you... Y-you said yourself that I don't have magic... I c-can't even fly." I cried, hardly caring how pathetic I must have seemed. "Wh-what more c-could you want from me?"
Harry scoffed and smirked at me. "If I wanted magic, I would have stopped lookin' for ye a long time ago. Let's say... I Just wanted me wee little vixen back. Me little firefly, the last pixie on the isle. All mine."
I couldn't believe this. All this time he just wanted me to be his obedient , domesticated little trophy pet! If I hadn't been so scared and stuck in his grip, then I would probably have yelled, screamed and even attempted to hurt him.
But I was also tired despite all that. It wasn't even midday and so much had already gone so far downhill. "S-so what? Y-you're just gonna keep me locked up in th-that old lantern of yours a-again?"
He shrugged. "You'll have other uses." He winked, causing me to shudder.
"Just let me go." I whimpered. "Please, y-you don't need me!"
He nodded in agreement. "Aye... But I want you."
With that said he shoved me in to the inside pocket of his jacket, making sure I wouldn't escape by zipping it up.
Then I heard him pick up his hook before leaving the shop slowly. I was terrified, but relieved that Dizzy had escaped.
After a while I heard the sea in the wind and I knew we were close. When we arrived on his ship, inside his cabin, he slammed and locked the door before letting me out.
"Home sweet home." He mocked, placing me down on to his bed. As he himself sat down, my tiny body almost fell off.
Harry caught me, much to my surprise. "Wouldn't want ye dead after all that now, ey?"
I glared at him, "Leave me alone." I sighed.
He shook his head. "No. First I want to see yer pretty face properly. Unshrink yerslef. Now."
My eyes widened at his sudden order. But I obeyed, at least this size he couldn't grab me in one fist.
However, even at my normal size, he was still a head and a half taller than me.
"Well, well, well..." He gleamed. He pushed the hair out of my face again and admired me as though I was a rare jewel he had never seen before. "Aren't you a bonnie lass."
My eyes were swollen red with tears and my heart was racing so fast I didn't know how to react. It wasn't like he hadn't seen me like this before.
He bought his head closer to mine, inhaling the scent of my hair, sending shivers down my spine. "Please." I whimpered. "L-let me go."
Harry stopped, then looked at me for a second before he replied. "Don't waste yer breath." He sneered "You know I won't. Never again."
I tried, I really did, try to keep my tears at bay, but the shock, the fear and the anger blew up inside me and I couldn't hold it in anymore.
I broke down, "I j-just want to go home." I sobbed. "H-Harry I-I'm begging you... Please..."
He shrugged, "You are home. Quit yer whining or I'll give me you something real te cry about."
I bit my lip, shrinking myself again. Why? Perhaps because I was ashamed of appearing so weak. Or maybe I just loathed the way he looked at me like a piece of fresh meat.
Needless to say he didn't like it. He picked me up by my wings again and to my horror went for the lantern on his bedside table and locked me inside. "No! Don't please! Harry please no!"
He slammed the door shut and picked up the lantern, so he could look at me properly. "What happened to that fierce little vixen, hm? Why so feeble now?"
I leaned against the glass and took a deep breath, ignoring him. I was weak now because my worst nightmare was coming true. The boy I feared more than anything in the world was all grown up and even more terrifying than my dreams.
He scoffed, frustrated that I didn't answer him. "Ye can come out when you've calmed down. Maybe then we can have some real fun."
