Ally stood in the door way watching as Lauren put on her make up. Even though Lauren was younger than her Ally always looked up to her because Lauren had the so much strangth after they lost both of their parents. When she was breaking down Lauren was the one keeping them together. She was the one who got them through tough times and for that she will always be grateful for Lauren.

"Ally can I help you?" Lauren asked with an eyebrow raised.

Ally shook her head "nope I just wanted to hang out." She said timidly. Lauren smiled a little "come here little one." She said as she motioned Ally to come over. Pushing up her glasses Ally walked over and took her seat next to her sister. "Would you be embarrassed if I went to the cookout?" She asked nervously.

Lauren looked at her like she said the most outrageous thing. "Allyson you're my sister I would never be embarrassed by you going." She said. Ally gave her a small grin "I know but I just don't want to embarrass you by being, well, me." She said sadly. Lauren tuned to her sister "Als I love the face that you can be yourself around complete strangers. That's I can't do, because I'm scared to let anyone but you and Norminah into my life," she sighs "you know what I went through in middle school and why I am the way I am." She says. "You get me Als."

Ally chuckled as she hugged her sister "thank you LoLo." She muttered softly. Lauren smiles "you're welcome Allycat."

Demi stood in front of her mirror messing with her hair when her mother came in. "Where are you going Demetria?" Demi sighed "over to a cookout with my friend Ally." She says. Her mother sighs but decided against saying anything and left. A frown formed on Demi's face as she watched her mom walk away. Her mother was never really interested in anything she was doing and that made her upset and sad because she felt like her mother didn't care. And maybe she doesn't.

"For some who claims to be nervous you seem pretty calm to me." Ally joked.

Demi giggles "I have mastered the art of hiding my nerves. I'll never let anyone see me sweat." She said. Ally nods "well let's go inside. I'm pretty sure they're waiting for you." She says. Demi nods as she followed behind Ally. Let's hope things go well.

Normani was in the kitchen helping her mother cook when she was Demi walk inside. "So what's your relationship with the new girl Normani?" Her mother asked. Normani shrugged "nothing yet but Laurinah and I are thinking about it." She says. "Are you sure you can trust her?" Normani nods "yeah she's not like her. She's actually really sweet and I feel like Demi would never do anything like what she did. She good mom." She told her mother. "I hope you're right Mani." Normani chuckles "believe I am."

Lauren has been upstairs with Dinah of the past hour watching as the girl changed into several different outfits. This wasn't surprising however because Dinah was a perfectionist, everything had to be perfect for her. Even though in Lauren's eyes Dinah was already perfect. "Baby Mani is waiting and Demi has already arrived." She said. Dinah huffs as she fixed her hair "LoLo go keep them company. I am almost done." She said. Lauren sighed as she stood up and wraps her arms around Dinah's waist. "If it's any consolation I think you look beautiful." With a gently to her girlfriend's cheek Lauren left the room and headed downstairs.

"Is Dinah still upstairs?" Normani asked.

Lauren nodded "yep she's still trying to find the perfect outfit, even though I told her she looks beautiful." She explained. Normani nodded as she wraps her arms around Lauren. "Babe you know it's going to take a while for her to be the old Dinah that we know. That girl really fucked up her self esteem." She reminds her. Lauren nods "I know but I hate it. I hate that she now doubts herself all because of that girl." She growls as tears welled up in her eyes. "Baby all we can do is be there and remind her that she is special and that we love her." Normani tells her. "I know I just wish she'd let us in more." Lauren whispers. Normani kissed her forehead "I know babe. I know."

Walking inside Demi wasn't all that surprised that Normani had a nice house. Normani did look like the type to live a lavish lifestyle and that intrigued Demi. There was a lot more to these three girls than she originally realized.

"You seem pretty intrigued Lovato."

Demi chuckled at the raspy voice as she turned to look at Lauren. "I mean why wouldn't I? This house is really beautiful." She says. "Well Mani always did like nice things. It was always one way to win her over." Lauren mused. "Well she is beautiful and beautiful girls like herself deserve nothing but the best." Demi comments.

Lauren raised an amused eyebrow at the brunette "well aren't you the charmer." She teased. Demi cracked a small smile "what can I say, I have a thing for beautiful girls." She says. Lauren smirks "me too."

A few hours pass since Demi arrived and things were going great. The girls were a lot nicer outside of school, she actually felt like she was forming a connection with them.

"You know you shouldn't get attached to them. They're nothing but liars and fakes." A voice hissed.

Turning towards the voice Demi saw a petite brown haired girl standing next to her. "I'm sorry but why do you say that?" She asked. The girl scuffs "because I was best friends with Lauren until she ditched me when she started dating Norminah. They put in her head that I was trying to break them up when I wasn't. They're manipulative and you'll be smart to stay away from them." She says.

There was something about this girl that screams untrustworthy. Demi just had a gut feeling that what this girl was saying wasn't the whole truth, like she was leaving somethings out but she couldn't tell for sure. "Well I think I'm going to figure that out on my own." She said as she walked away.

Dinah was hanging out on the porch with Lauren and Normani when she saw Demi coming towards them. "Hey you." She greeted. Demi gave her a small grin "hey." By the tone of her voice Dinah could tell that something was wrong. "Are you ok?" She asked. Demi shook her but before she could speak a voice cuts in.

"Of course you'd go to them. They must already have to under their spell."

Lauren glared over at the voice. "Lucy why are you here?" She asked coldly. Lucy smirks "I just wanted to stop by and see you old friend." She said innocently. Normani scuffs "friends? You and Lauren were never friends because if you were you would have never done what you did." She spat. Lucy chuckled amusingly "I only did it to teach her a lesson." She argues. Dinah shook her head "what friend outs another friend as a lesson? That doesn't make any sense." She said. Lucy glared at her "shut up Dinah! I'm pretty sure that you were taught to look pretty and stay quiet since nothing you say holds any substance. You're nothing but a pretty face and that's all you'll be." She growled.

Dinah held back her tears as she quickly ran inside and towards the bathroom. Slamming the door Dinah looked at herself in the mirror and just shook her head. Before they dated her Dinah used to have so much confidence. Nothing could bring her down but now the smallest of insults makes her want to cry. Her confidence has been shattered and she doesn't know how to fix it. She really wished she did though.

"Dinah can I come in place?"

Unlocking the door Dinah was face to face with Demi. "Hey." She muttered. "What are you doing here?" Demi gives her a small smile "I wanted to know if you were ok. You seemed pretty upset." She mused. Dinah just shrugged as she hung her head and played with her fingers. "It's nothing. I'm fine." She said.

Demi wasn't convinced, she could see the unshed tears in Dinah's eyes. "What's wrong Dinah? Please talk to me." She begged softly. Dinah bottom lip began wobbling as she locked eyes with Demi. "But what if I can't?" She whispers. Demi flashed her a small grin "then I'm right here when you're really." She said.

The caring looking in Demi's brown eyes made Dinah melt and without saying a word she kissed her. As shocked as Demi was by this kiss that did not stop her from kissing back. Something about kissing Dinah felt right. She really hopes there's more where this came from.
