Staying Strong

(Serena's POV)

I won't give up until it's over! That's what Ash always said, but I don't want to think about Ash anymore. I had Bonnie to help me. 

"Alright, if we have to have a talk while we are in a group like all of us together, we have a signal! The signal is; Bonnie, help" Bonnie explained.

"Bonnie, help?" I asked.

"Yep! Though it is kinda cringy.. Whatever, until we find a better name, that will be it! Now, let's see if the bad lovebirds are done.." We both walked back to the room and the "scene" was over. Clemont was sitting on his bed, reading a book about inventing things. Miette and Ash were just chatting.

"So yeah- Oh hey, Serena!" Ash waved at me. I didn't want to talk to him for the rest of the day so I just tilted my head away. Bonnie whispered up in my ear.

"That was another tip that I forgot to mention and you are doing it perfectly! Tip 13, play hard to get!" Bonnie whispered. Well I actually kind of wanted to. It would also be fun at the same time.

"What's up with the single girl?" Miette walked up to me and slapped me. She also whispered a terrible thing in my ear.

"You'll never get Ash because he is mine and you are just useless. Ash should have let you die.." she got pushed away by Bonnie.

"Leave her alone, meanie!" Bonnie started to cry. I think she really had felt bad for me. Did she know my secret the whole time? Bonnie secretly winked at me, saying that she will get Miette in trouble.

"MIETTE CALLED ME A LITTLE B*****!" Bonnie screamed, fake crying. Ash got angry and pushed Miette on to the floor, causing her to bleed a little. 

"Thanks for being a nice boyfriend.." Miette grumbled. Ash sat on his bed angrily and ignored Miette.

"Miette, you should be nicer to people.." Clemont looked up from his book, "Maybe Ash won't like you anymore if you keep acting like this.." his smile from reading, turned to a frown from Miette.

"BUT I DIDN'T!" Miette yelled in anger. "I'm going for a walk.." she groaned, walking out of the room.

"I hope she doesn't kill herself too.." Ash joked, forgetting I was in the room. I then ran out of the room, crying.

"Wait! Serena! I didn't mean it, I just-" Ash was cut off by Bonnie grabbing his hand to not move.

(Nobody's POV)

"This is no fun, both of the girls left.." Clemont sighed, but Bonnie jumped on him.

"I'M HERE!" she shouted, puffing her face up.

"Ash, you really need to learn about love if you have a girlfriend, you know!" Clemont suggetsed, bringing that topic up again.

"I know.. I just am not sure about my feelings right now. I feel like I don't like Miette and somrthing else," Ash looked at the ground, "I wonder.. Who do I love?" 

Bonnie's frown turned into the smile and she thought that what if Ash liked Serena? "Hey Ash! Do you like Serena?" Bonnie had a huge happy smile when she said that.

"S-Serena? I've n-never thought about that.." Ash's cheeks turned red when he said that and that's when Clemont thought of an idea.

"Hey Ash, you want to know who you love, right? his glasses lit up, "I've got a quiz that will help you find out!"

"Really? That's great! So let's do it!"

"Alright, does your heart rate beat faster when you are around Miette or Serena?"

"Why those girls only?" Bonnie stared at Clemont.

"Well if he doesn't know about Miette, why not try Serena?"

"Ok then.. Ash! Pick an answer!" 

"Uhm.. It beats normally around Miette so.. I guess Serena?"

"Here's the next one, do you want Serena to always be happy?"

"Yeah! Of course I do! I just can't stop staring at her sometimes, it's really weird!" Ash smiled, not realizing that what he just said, signified that he was in love.

"THAT'S IT! I KNOW THE ANSWER!" Clemont yelled in excitment.

"What? Who am I in love with? Or..am I even in love?" Ash looked at Clemont in frustration, really anxious to know.

"You.. are in love! In love with Serena!" Clemont exclaimed, cheering and fanboying out.

"Wow Clemont, you are such a kid.." Bonnie sighed. Meanwhile, Ash was just staring at the ground, thinking about what Clemont had said. He looked up, about say that maybe he was right, he loved Serena, but then Miette came in the room looking for Ash, espically.

"Hey, Ashy!" Miette ran over to Ash, giving a big hug. Maybe she had forgotten about what had happened because he breathe had smelled like ice cream.

"What were you about to say?" Miette realized she didn't let Ash speak. Ash was petrified, if Miette had found out about Ash's true feelings, he was afraid that she would break his bones. Ash didn't know if Serena would accept his feelings either. He just kept silent while everyone except for Serena because she wasn't here, was talking.

"Hey guys.." Serena walked in with her head down. Miette had a smile on her face and walked up to her.

"I have a question, Serena. How does it feel? Being single, you know!" Miette laughed, not seeing a tear drop down Serena's face. (Author speaking: I just now noticed, Serena has cried over 10 times now in this series! LOL)

Serena was about to leave the room again, until Ash grabbed her hand. "Serena, you want to talk about it?" Ash looked worried about Serena, so Serena nodded her head and they left the room, leaving to go under a tree.

(Serena's POV)

Me and Ash walked to a tree and sat underneath it. Maybe Ash could actually help me.

"So.. you wanted to talk?" I mumbled softly, not sure what to say. Ash had brought me here, it was his idea in the first place.

"Yeah.. About that thing that happened a couple of minutes ago. I'm really sorry about that. Will you forgive me?" 

"Sure.." I replied. Ash probably didn't mean it, right?

We both stared into each other's eyes. My blue ocean eyes met his chocolate ones. We started to lean closer. Then our lips touched together. We were actually kissing!
