Dear Diary,

It's been almost twenty years since the war that left most of our planet bloody and posined. Most people don't realise, the goverment, they have intraped us. In the 'perfect world' but if anyone dares to mention it, they will be executed. You might be wondering how I know all this... and the answer is my father. He knew that 'They' knew that he knew the truth. And so in his final moments with me. He told me everything. He showed me all of the pictures, and all of the journals. He wanted me to know the truth so I can do something about it.

"Lily! Get ready for school!" The lady of the house called down to me. She had long, blonde hair, and green eyes. She is the one that cared for us. She couldn't be more than 5'5, and she was about 25 years old.

We live in a girl's home. The ages for us range from 1-15, sometimes, a girl, if lucky enough to get adopted doesn't have to live here long. Once we turn 15, if we don't have a job, or home, we are on the streets.

"Comming miss." I called back up in a hurrie. I slipped my diary in my book bag, and scurried around to find my school uniform.

You see, one thing I don't like about this place, is everything is the same. The houses, they are identical, they all have one fake tree to provide shade in the back yard. Another thing I don't like, is they can track you no matter where you are. We were all forced to get a chip. It's implanted in our wrists.

I rush upstairs, and see a couple of the girls that live in the house eatting breakfast with Miss. "Where's Tagen?" I ask as my eyes rake over the faces at the table.

"She is expected any time, I sent her to the market to pick up some more fresh fruit." Miss answered me.

I was so relieved. Tagen is my best friend. She used to live with my dad and I. We were the only two that we knew of, that's still alive to know the truth.

A couple moments later, Tagen walked in with shopping bags full of fruit.

Tagen is native, she has long dark brown hair, and brown eyes. I've known her forever. She's like my sister.

I walk over to Tagen, and help her with the bags. We both put the fruit away, and help with the dishes after breakfast.

"Ready to walk to school?" Tagen asked me.

"As ready as I'll ever be!" I tried to sound positive. And with that we walked outside.

This world we live in is technectly advanced. And there are factories in the outskirts of town. No one is farming anymore. Our food comes from machines. And we are limited to how much water we are aloud a day.

For most people, life is a routine we go throught every day. They wake up, get dressed, eat, then go to either work or school, sleep, then repeat.

Sadly. School isn't really about learing any more. Some teachers are laid back and will let us do whatever we want for the period, and others will give us nothing but tests. At lunch we stay in the lunch room, and at P.E, we'll be forced to go through an obstical course. Sometimes, we're lucky and get to go on field trips. But they aren't like normal field trips, some times we get to go to the end of the dome, and look to see if there is any veggitation, and to see the animals.

School passed in a blur. So we walkd to the market to pick up stuff we needed, I picked up the list this morning. We bought everything on the list, plus stuff to make a birthday cake. It was going to be Miss' birthday. And Tagen picked her out a present.

Once we got home, Tagen and I started working on dinner. Being the oldest, we had responsibilities to optain to. We helped Miss run the house, in hopes by the time were 15, we can get a job with her, so we don't have to live on the streets.

Dear Diary,

It's me again. Today was a decent day. School just passed by, and afterwards we went to the market to help out.

I want to find a way to escape the glass dome. Tagen and I are doing research, and once we find a way, we are ditching the chips and taking everyone who wants to leave with us. We can't be controlled. There are people sick and dying, locked away because the goverment doesn't want everyone to worry. Water is scarce, food is fake, and everything looks the same. This place, is built on blood, and 'They' are adding more bodies to the count.

Tagen was close to finding out how to excape. And 'They' found out. Tagen was dead before the year was up.

I was too sad to carry on. I mean, my mom died giving birth to me, and my dad and best friend were killed by the goverment.

There was nothing I could do about it. I layed in bed. Feelings of rage and sorrow mixed, coursing through my body. Until I couldn't take it any more.

I decided to find them, and take them out.

It was going to be challenging, so I went throught all of the old journals, until I found their identies, I found my father's gun, and a few bullets. I was ready.

He taught me how to shoot before I could really walk.

I had a plan. I put the gun in my boot, and a couple pocket knives in my bra. I slit my wrist, making it seem like attempted suicide, but I was really ditching the chip.

People who are suicidal get locked away with people who are old, sick, and/or dying.

So when they came to lock me away, I allowed it.

When i was thrown in my cage, I waited and watched. They swiched guards every hour, and there was a 15 minute gap while they did so.

I picked the lock to my cage, and escaped. Thank god for P.E!

I was walking down a dark hallway, when I saw the boss. I grabbed my gun and shot him. But I was blind sided by another one of 'them'. I was shot once in the heart and once in the brain. Dead before I hit the ground.
