Y/n and Taehyung were best friends since they were born. Later on during middle school they separated because Y/n moves to America. This story is how Y/n and Taehyung later on realise that they were meant to be.
"Y/n!" the little boy with bright brown eyes whined.
"What do you want, Tae?" you ask him while chuckling. The little boy with beautiful eyes furrow his eyes and looks at you intensely.
"Are you abandoning me?" He looked serious and in pain. You turned and smiled a little.
"No..." His expression brightened when you said that. "I am not abandoning you... I have to...Tae." His eyes softened and his tears were about to flow right out of his eyes.
He swallowed hard as he asked you, "Why?" You smiled at him, "I have to leave you someday Tae... for my mom."
"Can I go with you?" He asked you with a tear dripping down his face. "Tae.... you have your life like I have mine..."
His eyes became droopy. "But....you are my life, Y/n. You were the one to save me from my depression."
You shake sadly. "I can't protect you forever, Tae. Someday I even might have trouble protecting myself." Your heart throbs that you need to leave your best friend who was hurt and needed you.
You hold his hand as he stares into your depth of your eye. "I will come back to you as soon as possible." While holding his hand you pass down a beautiful necklace to him. He grabs it and looks at you.
Then he embraces you in his small arms, " I will find you when I am ready to protect you, Y/n-ah." He tries to smile as you escape from his embrace and run away from him. He waves at you under the tree as you turn to see him for the last time. Tears flow down your cheek as you run to your mother who was in a critical condition.
