Big brother. A title that belongs to the one and only Francis Bonnefoy, the man who cares for us all. Almost everyone in this small town in France calls him big bother, even if he isn't blood related. He loves each one of us and makes sure we are all happy with our day to day lives. Francis is such an amazing person. You know him best, since you did grow up with him and all, so it wasn't such a surprise when almost everyone figured out you liked him. Everyone except "him" of course. If he knew, you would be so embarrassed and wouldn't have been able to hear him reject you like so many other girls.

The rumor that's going around is that he likes a certain girl, and nobody knows who it is besides him. It pains you at not knowing who this lucky girl was. All you could do is hope that it was you, but that was kind of selfish, so you decide to just wish that the girl he picks loves him forever. You just wanted him to be happy.

Right now you were planing on going to the store to pick up some stuff for your small café down the road. Well it really isn't 'your' café but you do work there. You stood at one end of the two way crosswalk. Cars were zooming by, back and forth, each one having a place to go. After all it is monday morning and everyone was in a big rush to go to work and school. You check your watch and stare at the long hand as it pointed to fifteen and the short one at ten. 10:15 am. You take in a deep breath of the slightly fresh air, forgetting that you're breathing in a huge amount of gas fumes, and stare across at your next point.

As cars pass over your view, you could only see small glimpses of who was on the other side. The person has lovely blond hair and nice pale skin. From your glimpses, this all seems familiar. It didn't hit you till no more cars start to come over your view. The owner of such familiarity was none other than Big Brother. Your eyes lit up with excitement and your stomach filled with butterflies. 'F-Francis....' you thought as you see him look up from his watch and stare right into your eyes. He smiles as well, not as dorky and excited as you, but smiles none the less. You don't know what came over you but you began to run over to him.

Maybe you were just overly excited, or maybe it was just your mind betraying you, all that you know is that you are walking right into traffic. The ear bleeding honk of a truck causes you to stop, frozen in reality. You turn to the huge grey eight wheeled monster and watch in terror at its figure getting larger. What you see next is a fancy sky blue shirt pressed against your face, and the feel of hard asphalt under your arm and an unbelievable weight on your back The sound of screeching and screaming filled the once peaceful air around you. Why were they screaming? You are fine, nobody's hurt...right?

You push yourself up to see Francis, his arms wrapped around you, a paining look on his face. Blood slightly came out from somewhere near his head. Quickly your eyes widen and you try to sit up and look around, but find your lower half not working. A sharp pain struck you down below. You stare down at your feet and see that his legs and your lower half were under the toppled over truck. Did your stupid action cause all this? Was this all your fault? If you could turn back time you would.

Tears began to fill your terrified eyes. Both of your hands grip your head and your breath quickens exponentially. You felt like crying aloud and just disappear. Suddenly a hand was placed on your back. You up, your eyes still watery and spilling over, and see Francis smiling up at you. "Bonjour _______. How are you?" he asks as he chuckles a bit. How could he laugh at a time like this? He is pinned under a truck and is bleeding, and all he does is laugh?! You stare at him, his paining smile still there. For some reason he starts to fade away until only black shadows were able to be seen.

The sound of screams and sirens echo through your head. A faint sound of a familiar voice was heard for a few seconds before it disappeared. You could feel your body being lifted onto a cart of some sort and pushed along the ground for a second before being pulled up onto some tall vehicle. Suddenly you could hear cars starting and people yelling at each other, giving directions and explaining what happened over the sirens. The sound of slamming doors blocked the noise from outside. You could hear a man and a women talking about something, you were too tired for some reason to use your energy to listen to them. Slowly you start to fall asleep, all the sounds around you disappearing.
