Insanity

 Bailey's P.O.V

I heard a loud crash from downstairs. I've taken baseball before, so I hope that if I need to, I can "home-run" the person that's downstairs.

Shakily, I stood from my bed, grabbed my baseball bat, and went downstairs.

 There was nothing.

 There was no one.

In fact, I didn't realize, but the intruder alarm never went off. It's brand new, all of our doors are locked, and it's state-of-the-art. I must be going insane.

 But I'm not.

I see a vase broken on the floor. It's shattered to pieces. But no one's home, there's no sign of a break in, so why, why, why did the vase crash?!

 Demetri's P.O.V

It's been a while. A while since I've seen my tribe. A while since I've seen Gale. I need a healer to fix my vision. I've stowed away in this strange hut for what seems like forever. I've felt lonely for so very long, but strange humans have now inhabited this place.

I've never seen a family with such light hair, and such light skin. It is as if the sun blessed the mother and father with His rays, and the children as well. Then perhaps after, the Goddess of Water gave them their eyes. It's truly amazing. The mother, father, and son went out, perhaps to hunt, and left the girl alone. She seems my age, finally, a relief from constantly seeing wisemen and young ones.

I heard her brother call her 'Bailey'. What a peculiar name, no one in my tribe hd a name quite unique as that. She looked more like a Inna to me. At any rate, I wanted to see how she came to this village from her last, but I didn't want to interrupt, so I decided to wait until she had finished to converse with her sibling.

He and the parents left, and I thought it was the perfect time to introduce myself.

 "BAILEAH,"

 "BALEAH,"

 "BAILEE?"

She wasn't responding. She was completely ignoring me! I don't know why she was, unless I wasn't pronouncing her name right. However, if I was her and I heard a scream in my hut, I'd want to investigate.

I figured if she wasn't going to answer, then I might as well take a peak around this beautifully constructed hut.

 Author's P.O.V

Demetri slowly drifted to the second floor into Bailey's brother, Joshua, room. She looked around and realized none of this was her taste. Gathering herself, she then went over to the master bedroom. Finding it empty, Demetri left the second floor without ever looking into Bailey's room.

 Demetri's P.O.V

Why would anyone leave such beautiful architecture so plained with no decorations? Unless they haven't gotten to the second flooring (which I didn't know was possible in a hut.) Perhaps the main will be decorated.

I walked into where it seemed like meals are prepared, when I saw a beautiful vase. I knew. had to find the woman, or wiseman, who created such a magnificent piece. I went to pick it up and examine it further, when my hand went straight through it.

My own hand could not pick up the vase. I tried again and again until after about sixty times, my hand didn't just go through it, but the vase practically flew off the small table. With a resounding crash, I ran from the room.

Bailey came down the stairs very carefully with a strange wooden artifact in her hand. I tried to creep past her, but she went charging into the room where the kitchen was, and ran through me?

 What is going on?!
