A/N: So I've been sitting here thinking about the heroine of the story. At first I gave her my name simply because I couldn't think of any other name for her. Sitting here rereading everything, I think I want to give her a new name. The only problem is, I can't think of a name cool enough for her! Would any of my lovely readers like to give any ideas for her? And just so you know, the 'HE' that will be the man of the story will be coming in in this chapter. Kind of a spoiler, but I'm so excited to write him it's not even funny!!!!!!!!!
Megan quickly sank three pool balls in quick succession before lowering her eyes to the black 8 ball. As she lined up her shot, her eyes darted to the very drunk Hannah, who was sitting on the bar talking to several random guys. When the one closest to her put a hand on Hannah's leg and wouldn't remove it, Megan sank the 8 ball and walked over to the bar with pool stick in hand.
"Hey there darlin'!" She called to the guy. "I suggest you remove your hand before I take this pool stick and shove it where the sun don't shine." She stepped up next to him and smiled sweetly. "You okay Hannah?"
Hannah smiled in a drunken amusement. She had seen Megan loose her temper before because of the male species trying to take advantage of an intoxicated female.
And she loved it!
The guy turned around and looked at Megan with lust in his eyes. He moved his hand from Hannah's leg, only to sling it around Megan's shoulders. She looked at his hand then turned and looked at his face. He was naturally handsome, just cocky. And Megan hated cocky guys.
"Well now sugarlips," he drawled, "if you wanted me, all you had to do was ask. I'd love to spend the night with you." Megan snorted and grabbed his hand. She dropped it from her shoulder and stepped in between him and Hannah.
"Well dumbass," she stated. "If I wanted you, I would have had you by now. I honestly don't care about you at all. You can go climb a tree for all I care, but if you touch my girl again, I will end you in the worst possible way imaginable. Savvy?"
He stared at her with a dumbstruck look on his face but he regained his composure. He clenched his fists and puffed out his chest.
"And who do you think you are little girl?" Megan chuckled and shook her head.
"It doesn't matter what my name is or who I am," she responded with an evil smile. "The only thing that does matter is the fact that I'm about to break your face if you don't walk away."
The club bouncer, a big guy named Kris, saw what was going on and started making his way over to them. But not before the halfwit in front of Megan made a big mistake.
He pulled back his fist and swung at Megan as hard as he could. Megan swayed backwards and he missed, hitting an innocent bystander. On his back swing, Megan grabbed his wrist with her right hand and slammed her left palm into his elbow. As he went down to his knees crying, Megan brought her knee up and popped it into his nose. Blood flowed down his face as he hit the ground on his back. She raised her hands and backed up toward Hannah as Kris ran over. Hannah wrapped her arms around Megan's neck as she smiled and shrugged when Kris gave her the 'dad' stare. As he dragged the guy to the front door, Megan patted Hannah's leg and turned to the bar.
"Now is the moment I really wish I wasn't driving," she muttered. "I really need a drink!" Hannah laughed as Megan drank the glass of water the bartender put in front of her. She looked around the bar and noticed everyone had gone back to whatever they were doing before the fight and she smiled. Her temper was well known to the regulars at this bar.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she pulled it out and unlocked it.
Nice fight, it read. Don't think you could ever hold up like that against us. We know you know about us and we're going to get that video.
