 i get ready to go to the hospital Rosa blocks the door and says and where do you think your going?, i'm going to check on the little girl i plan to help her adjust to being a vampire and we are not leaving until I've accomplish that i said, Rosa sighs and says there is no getting through that stubborn head of yours is there dont you think were getting off course here our goal is Marco not helping some small child your heart is in the right place and i feel for the little girl but im starting to think your forgetting what our mission is, well sorry if it seems that way but i haven't forgotten what our main goal is but ill feel bad if i leave suddenly without at least helping her adjust and the mother learn how to better care for her i said as i shove my way past Rosa and out the door. i make my twenty minute walk to the Chicago hospital i go to the receptionist and i asked wheres the room for a Amy Hartley, nurse says room 304, i take the elevator to the third floor and reached amys room i enter and say hey kid how you feeling?, she smiles with a toothy fang puts the blood bag down and says good and the blood here is great you should try some, i laughed and said yeah the blood i drink comes from hospitals and your right it is tasty but im here to tell you and your mother what your capable of and how to better care for you and the necklace you can keep dont ever take it off, why? asks the mother, well we vampires are vulnerable to the sun making it harmful to us in other words we will die if expose to the sun and there are other things you should be aware of what Amy can do she has super strength vampire speed and agility then there's heighten senses like her hearing, smell, taste and vision mainly night vision but thats about it oh and she can eat human food its just not as nutritional as blood is and Amy the one rule you must follow it is to never ever bite any human or you'll risk the chance of turning someone and we dont want that now do you i ask, Amy shakes her head and says no but what about mom shes human, not even your mom cause i think she wants to stay human i say with a chuckle, i look at the mother and i say i have been doing some thinking if you like when the time comes i can take care of her but thats up to you since shes gonna out live you but again its up to you, the mom gets a sad look but smiles and says yeah if its ok with you i think it would be best if shes cared by other vampires but i would like to spend time with her while im still alive i want to spend every moment with her, i smile and said good its gonna be a rough road for her but i think shes gonna handle it just fine what do you think Amy?, Amy finishes her blood bag looks up smiles and says yep im a strong girl, Amy looks at my bag and asks whats that in your bag?, i look at my bag and say oh yeah i brought this here so you can see what kind of strength you have, i pull the re bar out and hand it to Amy and say try tying this into a knot, the mom looks at me and asks will she really be able to do that?, yeah vampires have super strength so she should be able to bend them i said, Amy starts bending them like she was tying shoe laces while saying ok so i bend this here and put this in through the loop and repeat, Amy holds it up high and proud while her mom is surprised but impressed that her daughter was able to do it i looked at her and smiled saying hey good job you know you can use that to practice on controlling your strength i left some at your house your mom put them in your room, i look at the mother and ask when are they gonna let her out of the hospital?, the mother says tonight they just want to make sure shes stable plus they are gonna send us with a month worth of blood bags for her each month,i said good here is my number if any problems come up or something happens to her that you dont know about and you have questions about it dont hesitate to call me, the mother gets up and hugs me saying thank you for everything you've done for us and for saving my little girl, your very welcome I'm just happy that she's ok I say with a smile I turn to look at Amy and say hey make sure you practice with those bars and drink those blood bags daily ok, Amy nods I leave the hospital heading back to meet up with Rosa and Lucy at the airport I get there and Rosa asks how the little girl?, she's good I gave her some things to use so she can practice and hone on her new found abilities and I gave her mother all she needed to know about vampires so she can take better care of her daughter I said, good lets go I'm ready to get to the next place says Rosa, yeah plus I made reservations at the Johnson hotel in Denver Colorado says Lucy, please be two rooms ive never felt comfortable sleeping in the same room as Rosa I said, yeah I reserved two rooms ones for me and Rosa the other is for you says Lucy, relived I grab my stuff and head to bording.
