Chapter 3

POV James

I was lying on (Y/N) as she read about her Earthlyone we had an hour before class starts so we spent our time. I don't know why but I have a feeling that something might happen today and I don't like it. "What are you thinking about?" I look up at her to see her looking at me with the book in her left hand and the other hand behind her head. "Are you okay (Y/N) are you sure you don't want to tell Hunter about..." She looked away knowing what I meant but said nothing. I'm worried that now that she has a Earthlyone her good heart might get in the way. "Why I'm I like this James?" I heard ask me in a quiet voice. "Your special (Y/N) and that's okay"  She put the book down and picked me up in her arms and hugged me. I purred loving her attention and in some way calming her down. "I love you James your the best mascot anyone could ask for"

Time Skip

'So this is how we are going to know when to help out' I look at the midnight colored bracelet I got from Kubral and with it, I'll know when to help Maya. Kubral gave each Devil a task and one of them left since her Earthlyone needs her right now. "And lastly (Y/N) you will be practicing your powers with Hunter and Miss Valentine will help you" 'Miss Valentine?' I look at Kubral confused but I don't say anything as we all leave the classroom.

Time Skip

I meet up with Hunter outside where we are supposed to meet Miss Valentine and practice. "Do you think she's an Angel or a Devil?" Hunter asked me as he checked out his silver colored bracelet. "Probably an Angel because of the name" I answered not caring. "Yes, I am an Angel Miss (Y/N)" We turn our heads to the doors to see an older looking Angel coming our way. "So your Miss Valentine" Stated Hunter. She smiled and nodded her head as in yes. "So shall we start?" She asked. We looked at each other before nodding our heads yes. "Alright then lets start with (Y/N) show us two of your powers and explain" I went in front of them and thought of what to do when I finally decided. "Puppet Fly!" My wings got a little bigger and turned black, some white thread hung of my wings as there were also some that were rapt around my wings. "I can summon from 1-5 puppets that will do whatever I want and I can also control anyone like a puppet if they look into my eye's" I summoned two puppets. One of them was a girl and she had angel wings and halo both black and she looked just like me but of course smaller. Then the second one is a boy that is a devil and the boy version of me and both of the puppets were made of wood. "Incredible and how far will these little ones go for you?" Miss Valentine asked as she took the female puppet into her arms. "As far as need them" I answered as I was looking at the ground, hiding my eyes from them. "Well this is interesting...well then dear show us another one please" I nodded my head before I quietly whispered. "Voice fly" as my wings changed into transparent looking and my puppets disappeared. "I can copy anyone's voice and I can lure or control anyone with my voice when I start to sing like a siren" I explain in Miss Valentine's voice. She smiles at me before clapping then encourages Hunter to do the same thing as I did. He went a little far from us before shouting "Blizzard Fly!" His wing's changed into a pure white color with dots of blue in them. As soon as they changed Hunter stared explaining just as snow quickly became forming around us at a fast pace. "As you can see I can control the blizzard, I decided how harsh I want it or not!...Stone Fly!" Just as the blizzard disappeared in Hunter's place stood a replica of him but made of stone. "Well, I'm pretty sure this one is obvious. His body is made out of stone but he can still move around normally" I explained for him as I quickly got bored. This wasn't fun I needed something fun right now. So I just left before they noticed me.
