"oh wow Linda, seems like your daughter's home eh?" he said, smirking.

"o...kayyy who are you and what are you doing? how do you know my mom?"

he scoffed, "Linda, seems like your daughter is clueless."

i kicked him using all my strength and knowledge i know about fighting. he stumbled backwards and i chuckled cracking my knuckles. "i may not know who you are, but you don't seem like a good person to me" i smiled.

he charged towards me and i swiftly dodged his attack, punching his stomach. "oof, that must've hurt." i laughed.

"bitch" he said, being stubborn, he charged towards me again faster than the previous time but i was faster than him again.

i kicked him right at his balls(😂) as hard as i could and he gave up, groaning in pain, he held his private part and stumbled to the ground.

when he wasnt looking, i took a long rod found from my house and hit head, knocking him unconcious.

damn i didn't know i could fight. i untied my mother and gave her a serious look, "who is he?"

my mother stayed quiet and avoided my gaze, looking everywhere around the house except for my eyes.

"if you don't reply, i'm gonna call the police to take him to court."

"no don't!" my mom replied, i then raised an eyebrow at her. giving her the you-better-tell-me-what-is-going-on look.

she sighed, then said,"okay fine. i'll spill. i am cheating on your dad. he-"

"WHAT?! you what?" i interrupted her.

she looked down, face full of guilt. my blood was boiling.

"he is Eden. i met him online a few months ago. we starting talking and i started falling in love with him. i didn't know he only wanted my money. i thought he really loved me back too, just today, he called me saying he wanted to visit me. i gave him our address and he came. then he started tieing me up and stealing our things. that's why the door was open."

"does dad know about this? how long have u been seeing him?"i asked.

"...3 and a half months..."

"YOU HID THIS FROM US FOR 3 AND A HALF MONTHS?!"

she flinched from my voice. then she pleaded, "can you not call the police?"

i scoffed, i cant believe her. she's so stubborn. "he is not a good person mom! he is only out to get our money. why are you still defending him? he could have killed you, do you not know that?"

a tear dripped down her face and i softened at that. "i'm sorry..." she sobbed.

i sighed, grabbing her phone, i called the police and told them to arrest the blanked out man on the floor. "i'm sorry mom i have to do this."

when the police came, we gave our statements and he was sent to court. i hope he rot in hell.

i then turned back to my mom."are you okay? did he hurt you?" i asked worriedly. after my anger came down, i became worried sick.

my mom shook her head. "you know you have to tell dad what happened right? i will not forgive you but make sure you do not ever do this ever again. i deleted the online dating app out of your phone. don't even think of downloading it back again. you hear?"
she nodded her head furiously.

i was utterly disappointed and angry at my mom. why would she do this type of thing? did something happen between mom and dad?

little did i know, my video call with jesse was still on.
