after the movie ended, we walked out of the cinema in silence. i don't know what was going through his mind, but i was busy being embarrassed as i realised i just broke down in front of my best friend.

there is no mirror nearby, but i don't need to see to know that my cheeks were burning red from embarrassment.

"ella? can i tell you something very important?" he said after a long period of silence. he stopped walking and i stopped too.

"yea?" the air became tense and i was starting to get worried. what was he gonna say?

"promise you won't hate me after i say this"

"err...yea okay...? what do want to say?"

by now, we have walked to a corridor where no one else was there.

"i...i have been liking you for a long long time. since the day i met you." he said, then paused to look at me. like he was trying to find an answer from my face.

i was in complete shock. he feels the same as me? i am not alone? no more one-sided love like i have since sec sch?

"i knew it, i knew it you don't feel the same...argh why did i confess, now our friendship is going to be r-"

he was cut short as i smashed my lips to his. he responded back by moving against my lips in a rhythm, until we were out of breath.

"i love you too. for the longest time possible. i was just scared to confess." i said.

i smiled and he smiled back, crashing our lips together again.
