"Theo! Theo! Theo!" A young man yelled at Theodosia, who was tending her garden.

Theo was there like any other day. She placed down her trowel and faced the man. A bright smile grazed her face as she saw who was coming.

"Wasn't expecting you to stop by so soon." She chuckled, standing up from the dirt.

Theodosia dusted off the dirt from her dark green dress. Her cream apron, covered with dirt and mud. Her long brown curls were flowing loosely around her shoulder.

Her smile settled easily on her plump lips. Her visitor reached the white fencing of her home. The man was sweaty and panting, he wiped his wet palms on his dark purple jacket.

"Did... did you run?" Theo asked.

"I'd do anything for you, love." The man answered. "Weather it's running a thousand miles or swiming across the ocean, nothing will stop me from seeing you."

A light pink blush dusted the woman's cheeks. Her visitor smirked, he always loved it when he made her blush. Theo let out a small giggle.

"So, what brings you to my slice of the world?" She asked.

He always loved it when she said that. "Nothing in particular. Just needed to see you." He answered, giving a small wink.

Theodosia giggled again. "You're adorable." She said.

"Oh, my dear, you should talk about yourself like that."

Another giggle. "Come inside, you must be exhausted. Ma and Dad aren't home too." She said.

"So, Aaron, what's up?" Theo asked.

That's right, it's Aaron Burr and Theodosia Sr. (Not at all Philip or Theo Jr). Anyway, they were in the living room with tea cups in hand, Aaron's chest was still heaving, tried from running so fast.

"Nothing in particular." Aaron said. "Just wanted to see if you were.. ah... free tomorrow."

"Well, I am free tomorrow." Theodosia said. "Why'd you ask?"

"Well, I was hoping we'd... hang out?"

Theodosia blinked. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Was... was Aaron...

"Are... you asking me out?" She asked.

Aaron blushed. "No... maybe... yes."

Theodosia laughed. "Really?" She asked.

"Yes." Aaron said. "So... uh.."

"So, you wanna go out with me?" Philip asked.

"O... of course!"

"Really?!" Philip asked, a bright smile resting perfectly on his lips.

"Well, yeah." She answered. "I mean... I've got nothing else to do."

Philip jumped in the air, spilling his tea on his pants and jacket. He was so happy he didn't even care about his wet clothes or how much it looked like he peed himself.

"Calm down, Pip." His hostess giggled. "You're gonna break something."

He placed his tea cup and saucer ob the table and planted a kiss on her cheek.

"Tomorrow, afternoon, I'll pick you up." He said and scurried out of the house.

He ran down the streets, jumping in the air and clicking his heels together. Philip didn't care abput the attention he was gaining, he was too excited. He had a date with the one and only Theodosia Burr Jr.
