My wolf form runs faster than I've ever ran before. My legs seem to float over the ground, rather than actually touching it. I hear my blood pounding in my ears as I run, and a black wolf runs by my side. I see the green glimmer in their eye, one that my mind couldn't make up on its own. As me and Ryan run across the dirt, the wind flows through our fur. I smell nearby water and make a turn for it.

The trees speed past us in one green blur. As we near the sound of roaring water, we leap and jump over fallen trees and bushes. Ryan manages to run ahead and I see him gracefully jump over a tree. I do the same, but not with the same grace. My tail flails and my foot catches on the bark, sending me sprawling in the dirt.

Ryan skids to a stop, sending dust clouds to surround him. He gently trots over to me and sniffs my neck. He lets out a whine, before his voice floods my mind.

"Clara? Clara, get up" His voice is the same liquid gold voice I was so used to hearing. His voice drugged me, luring me to follow his directions. "Clara, wake up."

His words confuse me, before I realize I must be dreaming. As I began to fade into consciousness, I feel my shoulders shake, and the voice continue to coax me awake.

My eyes flutter open as I allow a moan to escape my lips. My eyelids feel heavy, but I see Ryan waking me and instantly feel comfort.

"Where are we?" I ask, the sleep still evident in my voice. He smiles and stands.

"We're almost home. The plane just landed." He said, leaning over to grab my bag. "I have someone picking us up. I think you'll really like her." His smiles widens.

I stretch my arms and stand. Ryan takes my hand and leads me off the plane. Liam and Alex follow us closely. We walk through the air port and a million new smells flood my nose. The smell of sweat, the smell of perfume, the smell of humans.

And the very contradicting smell of werewolves.

I stuck my nose in the air and spun my head to the side. Through the crowd, I was able to identify a man that I was all too familiar too. He had curly hair, and a few teeth missing from his mouth. He smelled ever so faintly of liquor and weed.

The man from last night? How did I not realize he was a wolf? How was I not able to smell it? The liquor, I thought. He intentionally covered his smell.

My eyes widens and I nudged Ryan in the arm, hard. "The guy from last night is following us. Him and a few other wolves."

I see his nostrils flare, and without turning, he replies. "Follow me. Don't let go of my arm."

He turns and whispers something to Liam and Alex. They nod in agreement, their eyes darkening to a near black color.

"While I believe we could take him, I'm not putting you in the face of danger. We're going to hurry out to the car and leave. Just do not let go of my arm."

He suddenly turns to the right, away from the exit where I assumed we would be heading. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the main wolf hit another guy in the chest and point towards our sudden change of direction. They changed their direction to accommodate ours.

Ryan turned to the side, and into a large flood of people getting off of a flight. I turned away from the men following us and focused on where we were heading. We walked with the crowd for a moment or two before he pulled us out the other side until we were hugging the wall.

We followed the wall and hid behind as many crowds of people as possible until we were near the exit. We rushed to the door, taking the route easiest to barrel through. I turned and looked to see if they were still following, when they spotted me and charged at full speed.

"Go!" I said beginning to pull Ryan. We passed through the metal door frames. My feet pounded on the pavement, my legs hardly touching the ground as I sped ahead of Ryan. I felt him pull me in the direction of the parking lot. He quickly stuck his nose in the air and sniffed, before turning his head down and running.

I easily followed, weaving through the rows of cars until we came across a white sedan. The driver sat with her nose in her phone, a small smile touching her face.

The smell of the wolves had faded, but was still there. Alex knocked on the window frantically, making the girl look up with panic etched on her face.

"Let us in! Unlock the door!" Alex yelled.

The woman did in a quick panic. Ryan picked me up and threw me into the back seat from the drivers side. He slide in next to me, followed by Liam. Alex sat in the front next to the unknown girl.

"Start the damn car!" Alex yelled. The girl turned the ignition quickly slamming her foot on the gas. Ryan huffed next to me, watching out the back window as the group of wolves became smaller and smaller, until we turned out of the parking lot and onto a main road.

"What the hell was that about?" The unknown girl screamed. She slowed the car once we reached a safe distance from the airport.

Ryan speaks, his voice panicked and croaky.

"They're the people who seem to be after my Luna."
