Chapter 12

Alex's Pov
I woke up and saw something or someone next to me. I saw a...wolf??
"AHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed at the top of my lungs. The wolf next to me jumped out of bed and hid under the covers while whimpering.
"Alex what's wrong?" The wolf asked.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"Alex what the fuck is wrong with you? It's me John."
"J-J-John?" I stuttered.
"Yes?"
"Y-you're a..."
"What am i?"
"Wolf." Is all I could say before I fainted.

Peggy's Pov
I woke up to a scream coming from my bedroom. I ran there and I myself screamed. There was a fainted Alex by a wolf. Where the hell is John.
"God fucking dammit John where are you." I muttered.
"I'm right here." I looked over and saw John but he was a...wolf?
"John you're a wolf!"
"So I've been told."
"How did this happen?" I asked.
"Well I woke up in the middle of the night and my whole body was hurting, so I decided to take some pills to kill the pain, then I took some sleeping pills and then went to sleep. I woke up to Alex screaming and yeah here we are." I took time to process this and then realized what happened and the same thing is happening to Alex right now. Alex started growing ears and a tail, his legs disappeared and turned into hind legs his body disappeared along with his head. What we were staring at was another wolf. He woke up.
"Hey guys what's up?"
"HOLY SHIT YOU'RE A WOLF LIKE JOHN!" I screamed.
Alex look at himself in the mirror.
"Oooo I look nifty."
"Alex no one says nifty anymore unless you're a loser."
Alex gave John a look.
"I am a loser."
"Touche."
John's phone was ringing. It took him a while to pick up
"Hey Herc what's up?"
"JOHN HURRY YOU HAVE TO HELP!"
"Herc what's wrong?"
"IT'S LAF HE'S A FOX."
"We're on our way." John hanged up.
"Guys we have to run and figure out what's happening to us. Why are we changing into our hybrids?"
"I know who we could ask."
I looked at Alex.
"Who?"
"Julia." John said
"Who's Julia?"
"She's our old childhood friend. Laf, Herc, Alex, and me, we were all friends but then Julia had to go live with her uncle because her parents got killed. Her uncle is King George the third. Guess she escaped him. When we were young, she saw me change into my hybrid. I explained to her that this man give me this necklace and I could just click it to become my hybird. She got really interested in it so she studied it. She promised to keep it secret. To never tell anyone, I couldn't ruin my reputation like that."
"Well what are were waiting for. Let's go."
"Wait a sec Peg, we have to check on Laf."
"Oh right. Let's go do that right now."
We ran down the hall of Alex and John's room. They ran faster because they were running on four legs while I was running on two. They were so cute. Omg i really wanna see them cuddle as wolves, that would be really cute. We made it their room and I opened the door. I saw a fox cuddling with Herc.
"About time you guys sho-"
Herc saw Alex and John.
"Holy shit you guys are wolves."
"Yeah umm anyways how do you feel Laf?"
"Feeling much better now."
"I'm gonna call Julie to ask her to come over."
"Aww Laf you're such a cute little fox."
"Well thanks for reminding me of my situation Peggy."
"Sorry but you really are cute, all of you got cute animals while I got a neko."
"Thats cool and cute mon amie, lighten up."
"Yeah well check this out."
I got out some powder but made sure its not what I think it is. I then poured some powder over my head and back. My ears popped up and so did my tail.
"Wow. You have ears and a tail but you're still human."
"Well Herc, since I'm a neko that means I'm both human and cat. I make sure to hide my ears and tail before I go outside or have guests over."
"Nice."

Alex's Pov
"Knock knock I'm here. The one, the only Juli- oh wow the time has come hasn't it. You finally turned."
"Hey Julia."
"Heyyyyyyyyyyyy Jewel."
"I see your still using my horrible nickname Johhny boi."
"What you are a jewel, sharp and shiny."
"So you called me here to tell you what's going with your bodies and why you are animals."
"How did you know." I said sarcastically.
"I don't know just a lucky guess. Anyways the reason you guys are turning into your animals is so that you can get used to them and learn them better before you start fighting and turn into your animals. All your friends are supposed to turn into their animals this week, if they don't then their animal is too weak to  fight. It should end by next week."
"Thanks Julia."
"Your welcome. John, Alex may I talk to you guys in private?"
I looked over at John and he shook he head yes.
"Sure."
We walked outside the room and then she said the beautiful words.
"I have a crush on Eliza."
John and I squealed like teenage girls.
"Omg i ship."
John squealed excitedly.
"When is the wedding? Will there be turtles allowed at this wedding? Are you going to adopt children?"
"Slow your roll. I haven't even told her yet and i don't know if she's bi or lesbian or anything else."
"Eliza's bi like me so you definitely have a chance with her."
"Hopefully."

Eliza's Pov
She likes me. Julia likes me. But i like Alex...right? Its part of the story. I have to like Alex...but Julia...just her name itself makes me helpless... but Alex... no he's dating John... wait... Julia and Alex both look similar... what if she got adopted by King George after her mother passed away but that would mean Alex would've been given away... he said he had a sibling but it was a boy... unless James felt uncomfortable and changed into a girl named Julia which is why Julia is closer to Alex and John then Laf and Herc. Shes closer with Alex and John because she knew Alex liked John and John liked Alex so she put them closer so John would be her brother in law. Or I'm just crazy. Plus James died. Unless Julia and Alex are twins. I have to do research but in the mean time ill think of Julia and how cute she is.
