Authors note: if you have any ideas of the chapters names i would really love to hear your ideas because I'm not good at choosing chapter titles
Luka's p/o/v
I was sitting with my friends at lunch during school, my name is Luka I was a half breed wolf/human and the only one in my pack. The kids of the Lightningpack left and made a sub-pack we were made up of the pups of the bigger pack; there was Alex and his mate Bailey, Trace and his mate Marie, Ryan and his mate Taylor, my brother Max and his mate Kacey, Abigail and her mate Jason, Drake, and I. When I got up from the table to dump my tray after eating and putting in my ear buds and listening to Avenged Sevenfold songs and on my way to dump my tray I bumped into the Alpha of the Darkpack Caleb “watch were your going you pathetic omega half-breed” Caleb said growling at me, I just looked at him confused at what he said since I had my music blasting. I got picked up by the neck and my iPod taken away and crushed away the wall near me “I said watch were your going you pathetic omega half-breed” Caleb said again to me but this time pushing me again the wall “sorry I didn’t mean it please put me down” I said scared to death of him. He then through me down to the ground just as Alex the alpha of my pack ran up to us, as max kneeled down to me my wolf inside me was whimpering “you wanna fight Caleb” Alex the alpha of thunderpack said flexing his muscles wanting to fight “no and make sure you punish that pathetic omega so she knows her place” Caleb said and ran off so he could get away from me and my smell. “Are you OK Luka did he hurt you” Bailey said helping me up off the floor “no I’m just scared” I said whimpering again and looking the way he went, he left a scent trail and it smells of of chocolate and it smelt really amazing. I shook my head what was I thinking he was the enemy alpha not my mate.
When I arrived home I went to talk to Alex who was in study room talking to trace about attacking the Darkpack “uh Alpha Alex can I speak to you” I asked as he looked up from a drawn out plan “yes come in Luka” he said with a warm smile and motioned for me to walk in “I think I am finding my mate I just can’t tell how can I tell” I asked curious since I was the youngest in the pack, he looked at me surprised since I was only 15 and in my freshmen year of high school and already finding my mate “well how do I put this, this said male has a scent only you can smell and it beckons you to follow him so he can mark you.” He said just as Bailey walked in “thank you Alpha Alex that really helps me” I said smiling and then got up and walked out of his study room. Caleb smelled of chocolate I only smelt it too this can’t be good I thought with a sigh “hey sis wanna go out into the meadow and scuffle we haven’t scuffled in a long time” Max said coming up to me with an energetic bounce in his step “sure big brother lets go” I shift shaped into my wolf. I was a pure white wolf with black paws and a black heart shaped spot around my left eye and my brother was a gray wolf with a few spots of black. As we spared I stopped and smelled the air it was that chocolate smell again I then heard growling and howling and saw my brothers mate Kacey running with Jason, Abigail and drake away from what it seemed like 7 other wolves.
Caleb’s p/o/v
There that smell was again a smell of strawberries. It smelled wonderful; I then shook my head and continued to advance towards the Thunderpack territory. My pack mates Randy, Lucas, Dylan Gavin, Owen and Aaron took care of the 4 trying to keep us away. When we got to the clearing I saw the one I smelled earlier on the way down from the mountains she smelled like the girl at school. “What are you doing here Caleb” Thunderpack Alpha Alex asked me through mind link growling and snarling. “I’m here to fight and take over this territory” I snarled back and snapped at him starting the whole fight. I had finally got Alex away from me so I could asset what was going on I then saw the rest had gone back to their home but one didn’t move. I narrowed my eyes to get a better look and I saw the white wolf down on the ground hurt trying to get away from my pack mates. “The fight is over you 6 lets go home” I said after I shift shaped into a human. As I walked behind the rest of the pack I looked back and noticed she was struggling to get up even as human, I gulped “guys go on without me I’m going to put this girl out of her misery” I said and went back down hearing yes sir. “chocolate” was the first thing she said as I approached her “what do you mean chocolate” I asked looked down at her with a confused look “you smell like chocolate to me but why am I falling for you you’re an enemy” she said when she sat up slowly “it will never work with us pathetic-“ I started to say but then I saw her eyes they were like shining emeralds then I realized she was crying at what I was about to say “no I’m sorry I didn’t mean that don’t cry” I said taking her into my arms, she didn’t once struggle while in my arms. I then heard footsteps running towards us “let her go” max said growling at me “why are you her mate I don’t think so” I said growling back putting me between her and him “no I’m her big brother now leave” he said to me trying to get to her, I then felt her hand touch mine “Caleb stop he won’t hurt me” Luka said looking up at me, I helped her up and then let her brother take over. I then ran off without looking back at her.
