I can't believe that at just the age of 16, someone could go through all that. "Ok Martha, Laf, we are picking Alex up on Friday, we will get a time later." They nodded and went back to eating.
After Dinner
I got out a big piece of poster paper and asked Lafayette something "Son?"
"Yes, Papa?" He replied
"Can you help me make a poster so Alex can find us at the airport?"
"Of course Papa!!!" He said taking the poster from me
Small 10 min Time skip....
"I'm almost finished," he said dragging the sh. "done!!!!"
"Laf that is perfect!!!"

Alex's POV
It was the day I was meeting my new family. I gave Lilly a big hug, we were both crying "I'm going to miss you, Alex. always remember you are special" I didn't feel like I was special, I felt worthless. but I wasn't going to argue with her
The windows were down in the car, so I whispered in her ear "Goodbye, Lilly. thank you for everything" I got out of the car and started my new journey
Time Skip (cuz I have never been on a plane).....
I get my bag and go looking for Mr. Washington. God, there are a lot of people here. I feel trapped and I cant move. Oh no, I can't get an anxiety attack here!!!! That's when I see the sign, Thank god. I slowly walk to it and get back my breath
"Hi, are you Alexander Hamilton?"
I shake my head yes, then get out my notepad. I write something on It *I can talk to you with my note pad*
" that's fine with me son" I hated my father, I didn't want Mr. Washington to call me that. I wrote something else on the notepad *Please don't call me son*
"Ok, Alex." He said with understanding eyes
