I sit on my bed thinking about the days events. It had been a good day. Until father started to beat me in front of Robbie. I sigh.

"Is everything ok?" I hear Riley at the door.

"Everything's fine," I say. "Except for the fact that our life is more complicated then it needs to be." I then bury my head into my hands.

"Cat, don't cry." Riley says his gently.

"I'm not crying!" I snap. "I can't cry anymore! I've cried to much over these past years that I just can't anymore! Want to know why?! Because life is just to damn hard!"

I then take a few deep breaths and then look up at Riley's face. Tears run down his face. "Oh Riley," I say pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry. I was angry. I'm just tried of not being able to tell anyone. I just feel so useless." I then sit with Riley and begin to cry with him.

"Cat, it's time to get up?" I hear a voice call. I feel someone's hands on the side of my face. My eyes flutter open.

"Robbie?" I say my voice full of confusion. "What are you doing here?" He then kisses my forehead.

"I came to see my girlfriend," he says. "Can't a guy do that?" I sit up in my bed.

"I guess," I say leaning in for kiss. "But what's the real reason you came here for?"

"Why do you think I came here for a different reason?" I cock my head, and give him an 'your not fooling me' look. He then sighs. "Wanted to make sure you wanted to go through with this."

"Through with what?"

"Not telling anyone" he then sits on my bed.

"Robbie, please you promised."

"I know Cat. But you and your brother are getting hurt. You need to get help."

"Robbie, you promised."

"Cat I know but-"

"Robbie! No!"

"But Cat! Think about the life you would have if you got help!"

"Robbie! I do think about what life will be like! I want and I don't want! Could we please just drop the subject."

"But Cat-"

"Go!" I then point to my door.

"Cat-"

"Robbie go!" I keep my finger pointed at the door and then turn away.

"Fine, I'll go." I can hear his footsteps as he leaves my room. I then start to cry.
