While at a new years party, I talk to my mom on the curb.
Kat: It been a crazy year. I mean I was stabbed.
Kat's mom: But you need to focus on the good stuff. Your father now accepts you and Jaiden dating.
Kat: Yeah,hey I have to tell you something.
Then,I pull out a small box.I opened to show my mom.
Kat: I'm going ask Jaiden to be my wife.
Kat's mom: Aww.... congrats.
Kat: I'm scared.
Kat's mom: Why?
Kat: Because, I'm scared it might not work out.
Kat's mom: Emma,you love her and she loves you.Follow your heart.
Kat: Thanks mom.

I went home to see Jaiden. It was late so I was going to proposal tomorrow. When I got home, I saw Jaiden crying with a picece of paper. I read the paper.......and my heart broke. Jaiden had cancer. I couldn't believe it. I look at Jaiden and she look deathly ill. She got up and started crying in my jacket. Then, we both cried together.
