CC's Dancing Queen (Sequel to CC's Ass Kicking Girl)

Chapter 1

Jake’s POV:

“Hey Em, you got a call!” I hear CC shout out throughout the house trying to find his always moving girlfriend. She ran down the stairs, skipping every second step and landed with a thump in front of his feet.

“Who is it?” She asked quickly, tilting her head to the side inquisitively.

“Some guy who says he is a manager of some singer.” CC replied and I laughed. Trust him to not listen to the details of what could possibly be important. She shook her head before taking the phone and cheerfully saying hello, before walking up the stairs and disappearing into hers and CC’s room.

“Hey what’s up dude?” I said as CC walked into the living room and collapsed into the couch next to me.

“Nothing much, I’m just over these studio sessions. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love the shit we do but it’s getting pretty full on, especially with Ember here now. I just wanna hang out with her.”

“I know dude, it’s the same for me. Don’t worry, not too much longer.” I should probably explain some context. It’s been about a year and a half since Ember and CC got back together. We recorded Wretched and Divine album and it got some great reception and now it’s time for another album. Along with this, Andy’s started his solo project as well so he is in the studio 24/7 which doesn’t leave him a lot of time for Kelly. But what’re you gunna do? The two of them need to deal with it.

Before long we hear heavy footsteps running down the stairs and Ember runs into where we are, almost making CC fall off the couch by jumping on him.

“Hello Miss I’m-so-excited-I’m-gunna-jump-on-my-boyfriend-and-wound-him-cause-YOLO.” CC said and I laughed, shaking my head at the two of them.

“Chrissy that wasn’t just some agent of some singer, it was Adam Lamberts agent. He wants me to be a main dancer on Adams upcoming tour. And they are rehearsing here in LA so until the tour starts I don’t have to go anywhere.” She said quickly and excitedly and he hugged her, kissing her forehead.

“That’s amazing baby, I’m happy for you.”

“Nice one Em. I’m proud of you lil’ sis.”

“What’s all the yelling about? I’m trying to get some sleep.” We heard as a very tired Ash walked in, rubbing his head and barely opening his eyes, wearing a pair of boxes alone.

“Guess what Ash? I’m gunna be one of Adam Lamberts main dancers on his next tour!” Ember said happily and he smirked.

“Nice. Awesome, happy for you. Now shush.” He said, holding a thumbs up before walking away again.

“Nice to see his always chirpy face in the morning.” CC said sarcastically and Ember and I laughed.

“So when do they want you to start?”

“They were hoping tomorrow, and they will be rehearsing for If I Had You and Down the Rabbit Hole. Plus I will get to meet Adam!” She said excitedly and I laughed but CC’s face dropped slightly.

“What’s wrong bubba?” Ember asked after noticing the same thing I had.

“Nothing. Just don’t fall for him or anything yeah?” He said quietly and Ember sighed a little.

“Never CC. Don’t worry. But he is kinda an idol, I’ve always loved his music. That’s all.” She said to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.

“Alright. Pinky promise.” CC stated, holding out his little finger, she linked hers with his and smiled widely.

“Pinky Promise.”
