CC's Dancing Queen (Sequel to CC's Ass Kicking Girl)

Chapter 3

Ember's POV:

I woke up this morning in CC and I's bed, my head on his chest and his arms around me. And I was naked. I groggily opened my eyes before closing them again and snuggling further into the warmth that CC's chest provided. As I did, I felt CC stir underneath me and without opening my eyes, I knew he had opened his. He kissed the top of my head and whispered good morning to me before settling back down again.

"Morning." I said sleepily and opened my eyes again, smiling up at him and saw him smile back. "How was your sleep?" I asked, rolling over so that I could cross my arms on his chest and rest my chin on them.

"Fantastic."

"Same." I replied and we both smiled before I looked down and bit my lip. "What time is it?" I asked and he looked over at the side table.

"9:30. When have you got rehearsal?" He asked me.

"10:30. I have to get up and get ready." I said before I quickly kissed him and stood up from the bed. I grabbed a Black Sabbath t shirt of CC's which was lying on the floor and slipped it over my head before going towards the bathroom to have a shower. I turned on the water and let it run so that it could heat up while I went to the vanity bar and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was a little messy but overall, I looked happy. Surprisingly I looked well rested. I looked like a new me that had all her burdens taken away from her.

It wasn't long before the shower was hot and I climbed in and started washing myself.

CC's POV:

I watched her walk off into the bathroom before I smiled to myself and grabbed my phone. I scrolled through twitter for a while checking up on what was happening in the world and before long I got up and pulled some boxers on to go downstairs and get a cup of coffee for myself and some hot chocolate for Ember. I got into the kitchen and Andy was sitting at the bench eating some toast while Jake and Ella were in the lounge room.

"Hey Chuppy, you and Ember all good now? How you feeling?" He asked and I gave him a big cheesy grin before turning away, putting the kettle on and getting two mugs out. "Ok? So I'm presuming you resolved your issues last night."

"Yeah. We definitely resolved our issues." I said and we left it at that while I made the two hot beverages. Before long they were finished and I made my way back upstairs to Ember and I's room. I put the mugs on the side table and sat back in bed just as Ember came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, walking straight into the wardrobe and closing the door.

"Hey baby, I got a hot chocolate here for you." I said loud enough so that she could hear me.

"Thanks babe, I'll be out in a second." She said back and I sat back, taking a drink from my mug. She soon came out wearing her black sweatpants, a loose t shirt and a pair of hip hop shoes.

"You know how sexy it is that I can say my girlfriend is a professional dancer?" I said smirking as she came out and she smiled, coming around to my side of the bed and sitting on the edge next to me.

"Really? I should bring you to practise one day. I'll ask Adam today if I can. This mine?" She said, pointing to her mug I nodded and she grabbed it before taking a sip and smiling. "Thanks babe." She said before leaning forward and kissing me so I could taste the chocolate on her lips.

"No problem. Anything for my baby." I said back and kissed her again, biting her bottom lip and pulling her down so that she was lying on top of me. Luckily beforehand I grabbed the mug off her and placed it on the side table.

"Babe, you know I have to go. I'm gunna be late for rehearsals." She said into the kiss but I could also feel her smiling.

"Are you sure baby?" I asked, giving her my best pout.
