Silent nights, memories, in my mind,
I am an open book,
But my words are bittersweet.
Lately I've been feeling blue,
you know what would've made it better.
We keep moving forward, act like nothing is wrong.
This is your new generation.
Bittersweet, and blue.
It polluted my mind, one by one
Now it is hard candy, let it bloom
Angels fall from heaven, they go under our feet
My tears are dry, they fall underneath
I see the light once more
But your closure makes it bittersweet
My candies were undeniable, don't forget that
Those goodies I packed for you, they were all bittersweet.
No wonder you came back with that sour look
You dealt with the reality, closed my open book
This is your new generation.

My morale lands high, I let myself assert it
